Lovely old fashioned home made if everybody ate like this they would a lot healthier ❤️
That hotpot is just what we need now, and all your recipes are easy to adapt for different cooking methods. and quantities. I would brown the meat in a frying pan then cook in my slow cooker and finish off cooking the potatoes in my air fryer. Another great easy recipe, thank you both, Eileen xx ❤❤
I love a Lancashire hotpot. Mum used to make it quite often. No oil and she always mixed a tablespoon of plain flour in before cooking. It was always topped off with a thick crust of short crust pastry for the last half hour of cooking. Served with either pickled red cabbage or beetroot. My mouth's watering.

Originally from Lancashire, I was brought up on Hotpot. Various Aunties would showcase their own version of this delicious dish and I never failed to enjoy every one of them. That looked absolutely delicious the way you prepared and cooked it. Definitely a taste sensation.🤪
I love the way Sharon keeps ‘correcting’ you ….😜🤣🤔
Think Martin should do the celebrity masterchef voice over!😁👍
Just bought a Cosori pressure cooker because of you 2 lovely people, it arrived today and I will be cooking this hotpot tomorrow. Thank you for all your great videos and really warm natural personalities

Morning Sharron and Martin
Well done from a lassie from Lancashire, delighted you did not add other ingriedients
Looks lovely, my mum used to put knobs of butter on top of the potatoes came out golden brown. Lovely x
I really enjoy your channel . Thank you so much. We all need to start eating sensibly, and these these recipes remind me of my mum. There was always bread on the table when I was a kid. We were allowed to have bread drenched in left over gravy what a treat that was. We never went hungry. Please keep inspiring and encouraging us. Lots of love x

Seen them in sainsburys also (got my lamb stock cubes and gravy granules from them too) got a feeling I saw the tins in Aldi, but maybe in the middle aisle?
One meal I'll have to make for for my 88 year old Lancastrian Dad, who would make this every Saturday, when Mum was at work!
OMG,this meal looks sooo wholesome, and im saying that as a vegetarian for 30 years !!!LOL.Well done guys, brilliant as usual -we all love ya !

Hotpot is like so many stew/soup recipes, everyone has their own take and this version looks absolutely delicious. I know you said it was for 2 but looked like it would easily go to or even 4 portions if you cook a little more side veg. Definitely a winter warmer for sure.
My mum used to make hot pot and she used to put a pastry top on it lovely you just took me back to the fifty’s and sixty’s 👍
You are a queen Sharron we all love ya x

Fantastic Martin and Sharon it's not bettys hot pot now it's Sharon hot pot your way is best 👍👍👍👍
Strangely enough we had this last night for our meal. I made a cobbler pastry to top it off for a change from potato slices beautiful. Sharon I buy my lamb cubes and granules from Amazon as almost impossible to find in shops I added some rosemary to my lamb.. If you've never tried cobbler pastry ( looks like scones can be plain or add cheese) These are an amazing change to potatoes I've served them with lamb, beef and chicken casseroles. Loved my hairdryer but my hairdryer oven beats it no end.

Another fantastic recipe. I use my instant pot all the time. The time and power saving features are great plus the tenderness of the meat and vegetables help older folks (Like me)enjoy food without excessive chewing.
Superb recipe for this cold and wet weather we are having, good old coronation street 😋
sharon that looks absolutley mouth watering just look at that shine on the gravy, and as martin says you know
That’s a cracking M&S meal, I did doubt no oil to sear the lamb Sharon, but you was bang on.. that one’s a keeper 👍

I still watch Corrie and have always wanted to try Betty’s hotpot. I am certainly going to give this a go - it looks delicious. By the way they still serve hotpot in the Rovers. (Betty bequeathed the recipe to the staff!
You’re making me need one of these pressure cookers, it looks a good one. The hot pot looks unreal. Cheers. Guys.

I left school in 1955, we never had anything like that 😊
I still make my version (originally from my mum & grandma) with a suet crust pastry - delicious perfect with beetroot or red cabbage. Thanks for the great videos 😊
Crusty bread and butter👍
Good winter food.
My Old Boy is extremely partial to a Lamb Hot Pot but it does take an age to cook in my Neff oven Having watched your most informative video I decided to get a Cosori mini oven. I love my Cosori dual blaze its nice and simple with no fancy-dancy doodads - Sharon and Martin you really are incorrigible enablers! I love your recipes and I'm looking forwards to some great 'getting ready for Christams' stuff hint hint!

I love a hotpot but I feel like I have to wait till we have a leg of lamb so we get 2 meals out of it.We have Sunday roast then all meat that's left I keep along with minted gravy and any cooked carrots to save chucking them.I buy a leg when in offer and roast it with covering of light mustard and honey in skin , tastes gorgeous. Next day I add more carrot slices, thinly sliced onions add to minced gravy and cover whole lot as it is with plenty of thin potato slices and then cook until potatoes are soft and golden in some places.Years ago I use to bin cold lamb because we didnt like it cold and I never thought of reusing it this way but gorgeous. Yours looked lovely though, my mouth was watering, great video giving ideas on pressure cooker thanks again 🥰. I love lamb it's just a treat as expensive
