Mexican jumping beans are real, but they don't do nearly as much as those that you can make yourself, as Rob reveals.
Жүктеу.....

As soon as he mentioned the Al foil my mind immediately jumped to: "How's he gonna round the ends?" What an elegant solution!

I got a commercial version of the home-made jumping beans for a birthday present as a youth! There was about 8 of them, each differently colored. They were positioned at the top of a plastic ramp and released in unison by raising a plastic gate. First over the line wins! ☺

Watching this makes me realise I really did have the best childhood. This show inspired me to become a maker of things, and use my mind and hands to create, question and learn. It still inspires me now. Magnificent stuff.

I used to make these during the 80's. Well those were the best days, no mobile phone, hand held console .. just pure enjoyment in the outside world.

Oh the memories! My friend Nick and I used to make jumping beans and race them. Great fun on a rainy afternoon! Wish we'd known the matchbox method.

You can also use those capsules to make an improvised submarine. Then you can control it with a game controller.

I'm not from Australia but this show reminds me of some of those comfy saturday/sunday morning educational shows from my kid-hood. Powering through this playlist is like traveling back in time
