The only thing which works for me with potatoes is to store them in a cool and dry place in a brown paper bag. They last forever and they do not sprout. Warmth and light make them sprout.

Lovely vlog with useful organizers...just when I was on my way to shift my crockery from the kitchen to the hall....there you are ...shifting it in the opposite direction...making me think all over ....lol.... Just a word of caution...dear friend...pls pls don't put medication of any sort ...masala powders where the children can reach...they are an invitation for danger...May be your kids are well mannered not to do anything with them...but we can never be sure... Will definitely check out ur blog...keep going strong dear

Hi diya. Wonderful Tp avoid potato sprouting. Keep an apple with the potatoes. Due to ethylene gas released from apple prevents from sprouting

Potatoes sprout and/or go green if they are exposed to light. I don’t know about India, but you can buy a potato bag online. When I buy potatoes (in UK), I open the bag and let the potatoes dry out for an hour, as they can get moist in a poly bag. Then I put them in the potato bag, seal it, and store the bag in bottom drawer of my fridge. I have been doing this a decade or more, never had a sprouted or green potato so far.

I absolutely enjoy watching all your videos and love the way you present and explain the ideas. 👍 Can you shed some light on how to keep the child connected to their Indian values and culture especially who leaves in foreign countries ? This has become one of our major concern and so we are in a dilemma whether to move back to India or to continue with foreign lifestyles with some desi tadka. I understand work is one of the top priorities but still bit concerned with foreign culture nowadays though my child is just 3.6 years old and like most other parents we want healthy environment for our child. Suggestions are welcome 💛

I use a tripod and take video clips or take selfie using the bluetooth remote that I have connected with my mobile phn.

This increases sugar content within potatoes. Best to store in paper bag, not ftidge
