Mom N Me

Mom N Me

Welcome to ‘Mom N Me’.

I am Diya, Mommy to two beautiful kids. When I am not spending time with my beautiful kids, I like to create homemaking and motherhood content for fellow mothers, as I believe in today's world where we mostly live in nuclear families, it becomes important for us mothers to connect to each other to learn from each other's experiences.

Here, you will find videos relating to homemaking like cleaning tips, kitchen tips, recipes, meal plan & prep, home organization and much more.

So, if you want to be a HAPPY MOMMY...

Hello, i never comment on any of the videos i watch, but this one made me express my thanku... am sailing in the same boat , graduated, worked and settled as a house wife.... always have a guilty feeling of not utilising our degree... but slowly realising our importance in our family... no one can replace our place as homemakers...looking into other mom comments... slightly relaxed that am not only the one with this guilt 😊... thanks for making a wonderful video...😊

I’ve never used oil while kneading the aata, wondering why it consumes so much oil at the beginning? If taste is not the same, won’t it be tiring to eat same tasting roti each time?

Exactly true, I too find peace being a homemaker. I was working before marriage. Now I have twin boys. I want to use my degree to guide them. But this society sometimes makes us feel low by criticizing why we should get two degrees and what about our passion, independency etc etc..

A wise decision always has lot of sacrifices and farsightedness. I am an Engineering graduate who worked even post marriage. Once my child was born I quit working with deliberate consideration. This not only boosted the guilt free attitude but also a sense of satisfaction and achievement. There is no regret now, as I justified my education by working when I could freely work, and took a back seat when family needed me more than anything. Now I am the backbone ( not boasting) of my household and I am very happy, satisfied, content and proud of my life. You are on the same boat... kudos 👏 💐 🥳 🎊

I really dont want to give to negative vibes but do you really dont work if youtube didnot happen to you? I am working women and i do like you but sometimes i feel that you promote homemaking . Sometimes circumstances make one work and some times our own ambitions makes us work. Like your partner and your circumstances may be in favour of you to manage home while your partner works but this is really not the case with many. I am sorry if i have hurt you even a bit, but this was in my mind since very long so wrote you.

I actually liked the thought of making kids study on the dining table while you were cooking. This had 2 things. First you routine up yourself to clean the mess in the table before they reach. Second, you can concentrate on the kids as well as give attention to their studies while cooking❤❤

Hi Diya, I am a 3/4 th qualified CA and I too took the same decision of not going out for a job. Once I verified deeply my desire and what i expect from a job thru my self talk, it never bothered and troubled me again, so much so that i even ignored to finish the last group of CA final, though I never imagined myself to be a stay at home mom. I suggest you to read the book" stillness speaks" by Echart Tolle. Very deep and makes us more introspective BTW, very matured content and excellent delivery
