    No, it not salty 100% because we take out the fish skin .This is the reason why we put salt Salt acts as Insulates and absorbs moisture and the smell that comes from the fish The salt will absorb the water that comes out. the fish and distributes moisture along the outer surface covered with salt. Makes the fish's skin not burn because it receives direct heat from the flame. and is also an insulator Both prevent receiving too much heat. and prevents some heat loss in the upper part that is covered with salt. Makes the fish have consistent heat. The porosity of the salt that clings together around the fish also helps absorb excess water and fishy odors that come out from around the fish.
