I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. My mum passed away just before Christmas. We didn’t know how sick she really was and so we were really unprepared. But we have faith in that God knows all things and knows the beginning from the end. We will put our trust in Him, knowing that He is faithful.

My mom died in July. Just as we did at my dad's funeral, we had this sung at my mom's funeral. Over the course of several years, she told me what hymns she wanted sung at her funeral. I love you, Mom and Dad, and I miss both of you so much!

God only lets them happen to help us learn from our own mistakes, so we can grow stronger through them. We don't know the bigger picture of God's plan for us, so even when we go through hard times, we can know that there is a bigger picture, even if we can't see it.

@@cjauto60 I got 8 angels watching over me. My uncle Mike. Grandpa Merrill, great grandpa Arthur. Grandma Betty(grandpa Merrill's second wife when he got remarried) Grandma Dorothy, my friend Keith that recently passed away due to a heart attack and the 2 babies I was pregnant with. That's from 1995 until 2022. I've lost so many loved ones that it hurts. No matter how much time has passed it still hurts like it just happened. The anniversary of my grandmother Dorothy's death is right around the corner on December 19th. She died in 95 due to a car accident. Just thinking about it is making me cry as I write this response.

Today I was listening to a ted talk while cleaning my house and I rarely post on here but I absolutely loved what was said. (Paraphrasing here) “The future is something that you can look forward to and not something to feel sad about. You want to get up in the morning and be excited for the future and we should fight for the things that make us excited about the future. The future cannot be about one miserable thing after another... Solving one sad problem after another… there’s got to be things that get you excited… like you want to live.” That brought up a great point. I see so many people get so wrapped up today’s evil and speculative evil of tomorrow full of “What ifs” to the point where it is fully consuming. I see people… even believers who do this but I would like to take a moment to remind you that we should be different than this world. We should be relentlessly positive and optimistic about life and the future. We are not alone and God takes GREAT care of us. We don’t have to be molded like clay and subject ourselves to the ways and habit patterns of the world. We are called out to live differently. We live in this world but we are not of this world. We are more that super conquers and we can live above the pressures and temptations in this life. Lets push ourselves to trust in God in more and more areas and to be super excited and positive about the future. We have a bright AF future ahead of us and as long as I have been alive I have never seen God not take care of his kids. Yes, I know... a bold statement but its true I have never seen God not come though for a trusting son. Come on guys lets get excited and lets move forward and go after God. When you rely on god you are guaranteed success.

My mum passed away in October this year, we sang Amazing Grace at her funeral. ❤ Mum/we sang it at mum's partner's funeral in March this year. He was 106yrs and one of the last remaining veterans of the 2nd world. war.
