It is how steel is made. You melt it, pour it, scrap it and put it back in the melt.

That is the cleanest, most well-lit foundry I've ever seen. Most videos of foundries look like you are working in the fires of hell itself. That said, I hope the workers have hearing protection you just couldn't see on the video, or every one of 'em are going to be deaf pretty quickly.

cast iron not steel, square part looks like the case for hydrolic pump or motor.

they probably have a lot of different parts they make, perhaps these little hub things they don't quite make enough of to warrant a further specific system to automatically grind the leftovers, when they already have guys there good at grinding whatever thing they molded that day.

Are those differential housings?

It looked like they just kept making the parts and then melting them, making them and melting them.

That is tube for carrying inoculat to pourin stream Inoculant consists of mainly Fe-Si and small amount of rare earth Inocuation is to avoid Cementite matrix and improve graphite form, count

Thank goodness it was a real factory and not one of those back yard sheds where everyone wears pajamas and all of the parts are dropped on the dirt floor.

it seems that they add inoculum when pouring.

They're occasionally tested, but many car parts, specially regular spares, have high tolerances for quality, like oil pumps, brake caliper supports, amortizator casings, pulls, gears, etc. For many of those, when material is metal, it's already fine.

le titre n'est pas bon; la fabrication des pièces, n' est pas faites de déchets; mais de pièces a défaut et surtout de parties extérieures a la pièce finale, comme le réseau de coulée, qui est le même alliage que la piece...je n'aime pas notre époque ,ou trop de gens ne savent pas, et disent tout; c'est désolant de bêtise...

Да не придумывай, инвалидом. Со мной работал чел плавильщик ом, его два раза обливало чугуном. Ему бы надо было ехать в Голливуд, сниматься в фильмах ужасов. Но нет, работал до самого закрытия нашего участка. И на пенсии будучи 13 лет. Но не какой группы не дали, только каждый год ездил на море, бесплатно. Чтоб в нашей стране дали группу, надо придти на втек хотя бы без головы. А тут ожег. Не мели чего не знаеш.
