Took my wife to see Elvis on New Years Eve 1975 at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich. This was the 6th or 7th song he sang. Halfway thru, I looked over at her and tears were slowly trickling down her cheeks. I asked her if she was alright and she simply nodded and said "Yes, I'm fine." That was just over 48 years ago that Elvis gave my wife her memory of that night. And in doing that, he also gave me my memory of that night. Thanks, Elvis.
