    Oddly enough, the largest migrations of bald eagles are at the Skykomish River outside Seattle in late summer, early fall. But otherwise Alaska is where it’s at!

    My wife and I just returned (May 2022) from an Alaska cruise. We took a whale watching excursion while in Juneau. Much to my delight, I looked up at a lamp post and there were two Bald Eagles! They were just relaxing and looking down at me. I grabbed my cell phone and snapped a lot of pictures. They were in no hurry to leave. I had never seen a Bald Eagle in person. They are awesome animals.

    They live all over the northeastern US and Canada. If you live in that region, just go to a forest with a large body of water like a river, a reservoir or lake and you will eventually see them.

    Love this video of these magnificent eagles. I seem to remember that the Roman legions marched under the standards of eagles and the greatest disgrace for them was to lose their eagle standard in battle. Great choice for a battle standard. When discussing their service to Rome one legionnaire might say to a another...."I have marched under the eagle for ten years or such."

    In florida I dont see many eagles but when I do they are about as majestic as seeing a red tail hawk gracefully soaring over head but In this video they are like straight up seagulls.😄

    Good to see that in some places Eagles actually are a thing. Where I live, in the heart of Europe, they are on the brink of extinction. The most amazing birds we see are the occasional falcons and owls.

    notice how they dont attack eachother much like seagulls if you feed them. attacking eachother must mean high risk of injury.

    The Eagles here on East Coast Nova Scotia, double the size or more, but you don't see that many in one place, usually 1 or 2 each day, that we see
