AMAZING CHICKEN FRIED RICE ON THE BLACKSTONE GRIDDLE!

Ойын-сауық

Today, we cook this amazing chicken fried rice on the Blackstone griddle! We LOVE cooking on our Blackstone Griddle, and this chicken fried rice is one more amazing asian dish that you can easily make at home! We give our take on this amazing chicken fried rice, so enjoy along with us as we cook once again on the Blackstone Griddle!
Recipe for Chicken Fried Rice (Our Way)
4 cups Jasmine rice
2 boneless chicken breasts (not frozen) cubed/cut to smaller pieces
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
4 large eggs
1/2 medium yellow onion
1 small bag mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots is best)
Sweet soy sauce (purchased at any Asian market)
Sesame oil
Sesame seeds
Vegetable oil
Cook rice before preparing to fry on the griddle top (we recommend overnight cooling in the refrigerator on a cookie sheet - spread the rice out.)
Turn griddle to med/low heat. Lay down about 1/2 tbs. of vegetable oil. Place minced garlic, followed immediately by chicken breast. Mix chicken and cook, adding small amounts of sweet soy sauce and sesame oil (add extra sweet soy sauce during the cook).
Once chicken is cooked, move to cooler area on griddle. Place another 1/2 tbs. of vegetable oil on griddle, and place frozen veggies (or fresh) and onion onto the oil. Mix with more sweet soy sauce, and a small amount of sesame oil. Once the onions begin to show color, move vegetables to cooler side of griddle.
Place 1 tbs. of vegetable oil on griddle. Place rice on oil to begin cooking. Add a generous amount of sweet soy sauce to the rice. Add more as needed. Once the rice is mixed and covered with soy sauce, create a spot to crack eggs onto the griddle. Cook the eggs and then mix with the rice. Once the eggs are mixed throughout the rice, bring in the vegetables and the chicken. Continue mixing on the griddle top until all foods are mixed through. Turn off the heat, and serve!

From an Asian pov, this is a good fried rice recipe! Nice! Also, just a tip for you: caramelize your soy sauce on the flat top for a few seconds, and put your chicken on it. This adds a smoky flavor to it because soy sauce actually have really small amount of alcohol in it. Do the same for your veggies and your rice, and it elevates your smoky flavor to it. I tried this on just chicken in a stove, and I added my soy sauce first and the smokiness and caramelization of it, put my dish to a whole different level!

@@waltwins yeah. Did you know that Chinese cooks actually pour the soy sauce at the side of the wok instead because they also wanted the same effect! Also, add a little oil on your rice before it goes on the fridge. This way, when you cook the fried rice the next day, you won’t have a lot of clumps. Hope you tell me how it goes for you!

I finally made this fried rice. And let me tell you. It was a BIG HIT! I made enough to feed an army i thought. We are all FULL FIGURED adults and it fed 5 of us once. AND 3 of them 2 more meals. My only problem is i just have a 17 inch blackstone i cant afford a 36 inch and when you cook 9 cups of cooked rice you have to cook in shifts. But i just wanted to thank you guys for putting out these videos cause it has made me look like a MASTER CHEF. KEEP UP THE GREEAT WORK!! Cause i need more AWESOME RECIPES!!

If you are new to these guys Welcome To The Jungle. My wife and daughter bought me a Blackstone Grill a few years ago and me and my daughter found these guys and have tried making their recipes just the way they do. We don’t change anything and do it like they do and me and my wife and daughter love these guys. Funny thing is. I do various fried rice, pork, seafood, shrimp on the Blackstone. I also do chow mein noodles instead of rice and it's fantastic! It's pretty similar to doing fried rice, but use chow mein noodles instead. However, when you boil the noodles, just slightly undercook them. I only cook my noodles for 1 and a half minutes. Then toss them with a little oil so they don't stick together. One suggestion, instead of breaking eggs on the side wall of the griddle when making Asian food, just hold one of the flippers sideways on the griddle and crack the eggs on that. Keeps the eggs from running down the outside of the griddle.

Nice recipe. Similar to my own. I just got the 48” griddle and I was looking to see how the process differed from wok based fried rice. All makes perfect sense now so thank you. I already did a Korean BBQ with it and Fried Rice is next. So my recipe is different in that I don’t use sesame oil or sesame seeds, even though I love them both. I probably use double the onion and some scallions, a combination of sweet soy or black soy and then some regular soy, some minced ginger. The only thing you omit from your recipe that I couldn’t do without is a tablespoon of Sherry per two cups of cooked rice. Huge difference maker for me. Thanks for the video!

I just made this on my brand new Blackstone 36inch griddle...it was first thing I cooked on it. I seasoned it 3 times within an hour with canola oil. I turned all 4 burners on medium...let it heat up for 5-8 minutes and then threw my rice/lo mein/ chicken/ veggies all on and it seemed everything stuck. What did I do wrong? Should all the burners not be turned on? Should I have put certain things on different times? It was my first cook, and first time cooking on Blackstone but want to fix everything sticking.
