Lots of paid advertisements from these bento boxes.
My favorite part of my Japan trip in May was the Shinkansen down from Tokyo to Osaka. Had a Katsu sando, Kombu and Genmaicha onigiri, A beef Yakinuku and Pork Shogayaki bento. Washed it all down with a Kirin Ichiban as I watched the cityscape flash past in a blur. I cannot wait to go back to Japan.

Can we just appreciate how QUIET the train ride is. Passengers minding their own business and not talking at the top of their voices or just being rude in general

I love that so much :) in Germanys public transport people often do phone or videocalls, use bad headphones or none to hear music or watch something on their mobile device and lot of people are simply rude. :(
Has always been on my bucket list to go on a Japanese bullet train, if I ever end up going I will be sure to check these foods out. They outright look delicious
“Unique meatball and quail egg combo”. That’s one way to describe a scotch egg I suppose 😂
I am So jealous of the amount of quality food you can get in the train stations in Japan - those ekiben boxes is food art in itself, and the number of varieties is just mind-boggling - you can get everything, and something for anybody's taste! Here in Europe we can only get cheap crap! No matter what country you go through on a train, the only thing they can offer is low quality, overpriced junk food crap! I can't even remember how many times I got diarrhea from buying food on, or near, a train station in Europe. Only one street food booth stood out, a small booth outside Gare du Nord in Paris run by a middle aged woman that sold baguettes'/flutes with high quality ham, cheese, salat and Dijon dressing - they were sooo good, and even reasonably priced. But as said, it was the diamond in the mud hole.

I remember those eki-bens. I lived in Japan for 14 years! Best times of my life.
it only just occurred to me that these are filmed over several days and you're not just going back and forth on a train for like 12 hrs straight

Absolutely fascinating. Japanese Bento meals look so fresh and their presentation is wonderful. Thank you, DancingBacons.
Food in Japan is so good no matter where you go, even the vending machines. I wish it was like that here.
The Conger Eel, Creative Meat, Beef Bowl, and the Self Heating bentos all got my mouth watering 🤤
Wow! That was quite a vlog! I’m planning a fifth trip to Japan for 2024. We use trains quite a bit, but we rarely eat on them. You have encouraged us to buy more bento for our journeys.
Couldn't imagine our rail service in Britain ever providing such dainty and delicious food, soggy tuna mayo if your lucky.

If more of your population would park their climate-destroying personal vehicles and use the UK's extensive rail network, then the demand would probably be enough for someone to manufacture meals like these at an affordable price.
Love the transition from store to train with focus on the box. Train bento is my favorite, so relaxing and fun to see the tiny neat foods.
Thanks for showing us the variety of Ekiben! 👍 🍱
I had to smile at your 'meatball and quail egg combo'! Here in the UK, we've had such a combo for decades now. We call ours 'Scotch Eggs' and they are considered a picnic or buffet dish. Generally, Scotch Eggs are small hard boiled chicken eggs, wrapped in pork sausage meat, then bread-crumbed and deep fried. They can be eaten hot , warm or cold depending on your tastes. If you want a daintier bite, you can use quail eggs, and as we have a vast range of sausages, the sausage meat can vary, too. I daresay you could probably make them with fish, such as smoked haddock, or salmon, too, and they'd still be a tasty morsel to eat!

Besides the snacks and instant food the bento videos are also something I watch a lot from you and now seeing you post a full almost 40 mintues long video with nothing but train bentos has been a blessing, keep up the amazing work!
Packing containers looks soo cute 🥰
I was going to be so sad if you didn't pat the heat pack LOL. You sure showed us a lot of bentos Dancing Bacons! Love it! ^_^
Amazed how beautifully presented and delicious the bento looks! Envious. Thank you for sharing 👍🇦🇺❤️
That transition 0:42 is awesome. with inside train sound reach first before the scene. I appreciate the little details.
The Masu no Sushi Bento box was quite a surprise. I would definitely try that when I come to Japan next month for the fireworks show.
Thank you for a nice memory of my dad. He loved conga eel and would prepare it himself and serve with fresh parsley sauce. Very tasty. 🇬🇧
Those Bento boxes look so delicious and made with such care. The Japanese do everything with such an artistic touch. Very nicely presented. With Love, from the USA 🇺🇸 ❤️
Six minutes in and I'm so full....just watching. Love your content! Thanks for all you do!
That round salmon bowl with the rice looked so good! I always watch your videos at dinnertime or I get very hungry! I love all of your videos and love seeing the ones you do with the lady. She's so adorable and cute!
Am I the only one so inlove with the bento packaging, that first one💯💯💯
Simple but Amazing. I love seeing what Bentos Japan has to inspire my meals. Thank you for sharing a little bit of Japan and other nations life and culture with us.
This is why I just adore Japan everything is of the highest quality even train station food and other transport systems are just amazing everything is made fresh the portions are generous size and they're not too badly priced why can't other countries around the world take their cue from Japan Also one of my favourite things is rice wrapped in seaweed with a huge helping of pickled ginger there is nothing yummier in the world than that right there❤❤❤
Another amazing video! Everything looked so good. Thank you for the wonderful memories of riding the trains, and at each stop everyone rushing out to get bento boxes or something to drink, then quickly getting back to their seats before the train took off again.
I wish we had something similar here, the bento boxes are absolutely precious. They’re almost too pretty to eat! For the time being I’ll just have to settle on living vicariously through you guys and your amazing videos. ♥️ Thank you for continuing to take us with you on your food journey.
I love learning about the creative world of ekibens and travel meals. They're a great way to attract more travelers - it gives you something to look forward to on the train ride!
The way the perfectly cooked onsen egg is jiggling from the train movement adds to the experience, I think! :)
Y'all are making me miss Japan even more, now! Those all looked wonderful and next time I go and end up on the Shinkansen? I will see about getting one or two Ekiben to see how good they are.
新幹線で食べる駅弁はなぜか特別においしい。
The train looks so awesome! I am excited to watch another peaceful and calming video with delicious looking food!!!
i dont know what i would do if i never explore these kinds of food, everything just always looks so delicious! my dream is to go to japan and try every food there.
Why do I get the feeling the panda and the train shaped one were aimed at children? They are so cute. I think my favorite would be the first box or the second trained one. But the sumo portion and double layer also looked great. And the meat sushiy is indeed creative.
This video reminded me of a story my father told me during his trip to Japan. He was on the subway late one night, on his way back to his hotel. He looks over and sees a very young boy, totally unsupervised, eating a raw sardine as if it was a Snickers bar. The mental imagine has been sending me ever since.

Thank you for posting these collection of videos! I love the new train bento series!
finally, DancingBacons eats Bacon Sushi!
dancingbacons videos actually helped me with regaining apetite after falling ill and barely eating anything
I didn't realize that you can just buy bentos like that but it makes total sense and I'm just impressed 😍
The containers are so cute, those would be my new Tupperware for my house.. you know instead of butter containers or large cottage cheese containers 😂.. I really love 💕 and need this packaging ❤😊
There are so many choices and budget friendly too. Looks delicious.
This video is such a delight. I love all of these eki-bens and as someone who is weird about food textures and has a variety of allergies - so many of these would get me to try things I never thought I would try, food-wise! I appreciate how balanced these are; palate cleansers and pickles and greens for digestion. Always such a thoughtful way of eating!
Eating any of these would cure me of any ailment.
I missed your train bento videos so much ❤
I love the thought of them eating all of that in one day
As someone who loves room temperature food.. those bentos sure make me hungry
Man!!! I was searching for this channel for weeks!! The last time a saw a video for this channel was three years ago😭😭 omg thank god
very good looking and healthy food for the price, the salmon with roe looked amazing
Great video! Long format never felt slow, stayed entertaining thanks to some great editing.
I really look forward to your videos and Ms. Tao always makes me smile when she smiles.
Their videos relaxes me. This is the reason why i subscribed them 👍
they are all super delicious. the perfect thing to watch while on lunch.
The sound of the train is hypnotic. I want to ride the shinkansen next time i go to Japan.
Had some of the best tasting Ekibens during my trip back in March. Ah, Japan I am missing you already.
Absolutely love this compilation of all the Ekiben! I would love for you to do this type of video again, as I love your longer videos. ❤
Those transitions between shop and train ride are clean. I'd be too embarrassed to film a vlog segment for what I'm eating when sat next to another random passenger though. lol

These bento videos are really interesting. They are as close to Japan as I'll ever get to see sadly. The food looks good and you put a lot of effort to show all of those boxes. Thanks for the video.
I like how you said some of the words in Japanese, I plan on going to Japan after I graduate so this is good knowledge 👍
The meatball with quall egg is very similar to something we have the UK called a scotch egg. The egg is a chicken egg, and because of that its bigger. Very tasty too.

Scotch egg is correct. This lunchbox is inspired by Europe.
Subscribed! Someday I'd like to take my daughter on that train and get her the locomotive bento :)
So many bentos. Thank you! With much love and respect from Chicago USA Planet Earth
The variety of ingredients used in Japanese food seems so much more natural and healthy to me. I envy this way of living. I grew up with such a restricted diet that now I am grown and there are still a lot of unfamiliar flavors and textures that are hard for me to palate.
I really liked this longer format.
Thank you for the wonderful Shinkansen gourmet video in Japan👍
I usually get to the end of a DancingBacons video while I'm also eating something. I didn't notice how long this video was at the start, but by the time I finished my sandwitches, I was amazed that it kept going. Thank you for the long video DancingBacons! And it's also about one of my favourite foods you made videos of.
The care taken for the presentation is very impressive. You don’t find that in any premade meal, here in the states.
Love youse guys. It's always great to see videos from other countries and realise just how behind the times we are in USA.
Best episode yet!!! Gorgeous work
This is absolutely the best guide to bento on KZread.
Omg! A long video with train bento boxes - am I in heaven?! ❤
Ahhhhh! It all looks so good! I love the variety of bentos and how different each one is! You could probably eat a new one every day for your whole life 😋
Good Lord, this is a lot of food! Love it. From the seat changes, it looks like you took a few trips to cover it all.
Great vid. Thank you for showing so many different bentos; even ones for kids. The Japanese really know how to make the food look pretty.
Amazing at all the different kinds of food you can have in a box!
👍👍 Always enjoy seeing Ekiben.
A nice window view with relishing favourite food in hand is the best moment of peace.
How many train trips did you 2 have to make to get all those Bento boxes eaten? I love Bento boxes when I can get them, but I do not think I have eaten as many in my whole life as you have shown here. Thank you but it was hard to sit here and eat a cheap pizza while you were both enjoying all the wonder food
I'm glad that they have very clear labels about the contents and allergy warnings. I have to be very careful with anything that comes from Japan because of my shellfish allergies, so I appreciate the warning labels. Managed to enjoy some hot pots and bento the last time I bought from an Asian food market thanks to those labels.
Such a satisfying video 😋 now I want to go on a bullet train someday and try those bentos, they looked heavenly 🍱
They all looked amazing!
i love when there’s a single bite of spaghetti
18:40 That takes the whole "fish cake" moniker to a whole other level! that fish pie.
Very nice Bento review!
Probably one of.my.fave video.of yours. Every single bento looked so so good. I cant wait to go to japan this year
The US is like 25 years behind in having great food that is ready to eat. I visited a 7/11 in Taiwan and the food they sold was good enough to live on.
I wish we had this Bullet 🚅 train, Bento culture in America, it's so beautiful, you really get to eat with your eyes
Really enjoyed this video a lot just wish the USA would have bullet trains but Americans love cars and congested highways more. Just wished that you would have mentioned how the 🥕 tasted on the burger meat or how all the vegetables tasted in any of the bento lunches. I just love to see the different places and foods you get to eat yummy.
All sounds great.. now you make me hungry and want to go to Japan!
I hope it continues and you have a lovely life.
japanese train bentos are healthier, cheaper and overall better than what i can get at my supermarkets or at local streetfood vendors lol
Raw salmon is my very favorite I think I could eat a whole salmon😂 sashimi and sushi are the favorites that I could eat everyday for every meal.❤️The panda Bento looks like a great meal for a child👏🏼 I love all of your videos and look forward to new ones every week.👏🏼👵🏻🇺🇸
These are one of my favorite episodes💗
There is a certain dignity in the care and packaging of this beautiful food.
I really miss the food from my time in Japan. Delicious (and _real,_ more importantly) food options like this were everywhere that, in the US, you will only find overprocessed junk food.
