I love this channel but at this point, it's too good for BSPN. That channel is a far cry from the days of Burt Sugar. They have a boxing analyst who basically talks about anything but boxing. BSPN is a gossip network now sadly.

Robbed?? It was a close fight,Oscar was the one coming forward all night & landing the harder punches.I had it a draw.Oscar has been robbed for a lot of fights.He was robbed in his second fight against Mosely.Most people think he beat Trinidad,I had that one also a draw.So which fights do we believe he robbed the other fighter?

Nah man, as much as I despise Oscar today and love Whitaker, this was a close fight to score. Pernell was by far the better fighter but fooled too much around to get a clear decision. The cards were shit, but it was a close fight

It's absolutely criminal that you aren't making big bank for making these amazing videos. Your production game is so tight, the videos so good. And every one of your videos would be that much more epic if you could just use the available existing footage so as to portray the events appropriately. You are doing a huge service to the sport of boxing and every promoter and featured active boxer worth his salt should give YOU money for making them look so damn good.

BLTV is easily the best boxing channel on KZread. This was an amazing and heart warming tribute to Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker. RIP champ.

The hard work and long hours put into these videos really shines through.

Sweat pea was the most coordinated fighter I've seen everything was just done perfect with perfect timing. One of the best back foot boxers never broke his rhythm and shape for 12 rounds. Like his boxing was set up before the fight

We will all miss him. Living near, and watching him locally, grow into the CHAMP helped change many lives. RIP Champ. Our mailman was one of his coaches in the 80's. LOCAL BOY DOES GREAT.

Boxing Legends, thank you for all you do for the sport. I haven't watched boxing for a long time and honestly thought the sport was dying out. Your videos are well done in every aspect and you give every fighter the attention to detail they deserve without bias. Channels like yours and office honcho really are underrated for the contributions you make to keep interest.

That was a fitting tribute to one of my favorite fighters, & clearly one of boxing's greatest all-time champions. Pernell Whitaker was, in his prime, at the pinnacle of the sport & would've been a match for anyone before or since. RIP Sweet P. Your legacy will remain for fight fans to marvel at forever.

Finally! Asked a few boxing channels when they were going to do a Sweet Pea tribute. Mostly been ignored.

Definitely top 3 pound for pound boxers. A true master and artist. I unfortunately never got to see him box live in person but watched all of his fights, glued to my chair. You never wanted to miss anything....you blink and it could be over!! RIP Champ. You are and will always be missed but never forgotten.

This is such a great channel. The educational content of the videos themselves is superb. One can see that there's a lot of time put into a video. It is not just some clips put together, but a very well researched story being told in a very interesting way. Personally, I didn't know much about Whitaker, which is why I enjoyed this video so much. BLTV, I hope not so much time has to pass before we see another video. I've said it before, but it's true: this channel is way too good to be gone for long.
