I am imagining that big paper cutter in an American factory. There would be cutter guards, people assigned to make sure the workers hands were out of the way of the blade, and warning labels everywhere in multiple fonts and colors. These people seem to be born with the sense to keep their fingers attached.

It is fascinating to see how many people and machines are working in the making process of a book! Amazing video.

Hope to see more about the 'waste'. Wouldn't it be beast to reuse? However, Love from India❤❤❤❤

Jeez ! The most dangerous guillotine I've ever seen operated and I have been a trades qualified print finisher for over 30 years !! Firstly, the operator should strike on using two buttons about 60 cm's apart so both hands are behind and away from danger. If the buttons are released before the knife hits the bottom stroke it will stop 'immediately'. Secondly, if anyone or anything crosses a multi light barrier the knife will again stop 'immediately'. That knife would clean cut anything that got in it's way.

Very interesting. It's a mystery how well any of the copies will sell, but there's hope.

Algún día DIOS me dará la bendición de hacer algo así, ya que en Latinoamérica todavía falta bastante
