Enjoy the music!
remember the request of MoSeZ - PLAY LOUD! :))
In 2000, I saved all the data from hdd of my real Amiga-1200. Now, searching through old archives,
I found and remembered that in 1997-1998 I downloaded from the Internet via dial-up :) a lot of demos
and music in SymMOD format for my favorite tracker Symphonie Pro256.
Having turned on the music using WINUAE emulator, I was surprised that even now this music sounds good!
Decided to share with everyone my collection of this beautiful music.
This is the first part, one of the best musicians who worked at Symphonie Pro - MoSeZ,
15 incredible trance tracks you will listen to in one breath!
For video audio tracks are rendered in Symphonie Pro as 16-bit with a frequency of 44 166 Hz
and to improve the sound made mastering.
All tracks in this part were created probably in 1996.
Thanks to MoSeZ for great harmony and mesmerizing melodies!
Thanks also to Patrick Meng for the best music tracker in the world!!
Amiga forever!!!
to be continue...

Of course, sooner or later I will make the next parts with excellent music and other equally interesting musicians.
But the creation of this video took me a lot of time and I don't know when I will now start making Collection #2
If you liked this music and you want to hear and see the continuation as soon as possible, then you can always
cheer me up with any donation :) It will inspire me a lot to produce the next parts ;-)

I agree with you! It is likely that few people knew about this software and, accordingly, few heard this music.. I was very surprised when I discovered that not a single track was posted on KZread in 2023.. and decided to do it myself :) Personally, this sound resonated with me so much that I only learned about the existence of VST instruments in 2004 )))

Most music was composed with composer rather than trackers and we are changed from using funky wavetable, fm and PSGs to PCM

You may like spacesynth music! It's a genre that originated in the 80s but still made and enjoyed today.

It's because this is what people back then thought the future would sound like. That's it. It doesn't sound futuristic. You just think that because it was associated with futurism back then. I guarantee anything that sounds "futuristic" now will sound nothing like the stuff coming out in the actual future.

Sounds from the past, which I never had this way. As well as any Amiga. =) Anyway, this music is still good to me! I like many tunes of the Amiga composers legacy. In example, "Echoing".

Thank you for sharing this with use. It brings back so many memories! I remember a demo I had downloaded at that time, which made me decide to do music on Symphonie (maybe it's called No Way Out). I wouldn't dare ask you if you were the composer... It sounded much like your tune "Eclipse"

Glad you liked, it also brought back good memories for me and I decided to share my collection with everyone! No, I did not create these tracks, the composer is Mosez. I really like the track “Eclipse” too and I even once did a remix of this track :) If you have tracks that you created in Symphonie, then send them to me by email, I’ll be happy to listen to them and maybe I’ll take them into the next collections. Also Collection #2 will be uploaded soon ;)

This music puts my mind at ease, did not know about this program, only few years ago I learned about it. its sadly not open source, so we can't add AHI support to it :-(

I once found the program’s author’s page on GitHub, there’s even an updated version for Java with support for VST tools, but I still haven’t gotten around to trying it :) Try contacting the author, I think he can help you. I'll look for the link now... github.com/patricklyte

The software is amazing. I haven't touched an Amiga since like 1993 but I am amazed at developers in 1997 who could make this work.

For video I use WINUAE emulator. I chose 68030 processor, but recently I noticed that Symphonie works better if you choose 68040. 25 years ago I had an Amiga-1200 and Blizzard accelerator with 68030 processor, and it was this music that I listened to with pleasure then)) Also, depending on the processor power, you can adjust the sampling frequency, I think that can even turn on these tracks on 68020 processor, but with a frequency of 8000-10000 KHz :)

Those tracks are older than me, I don't have usually any feelings regarding that, listening to the music. Those sounds don't feel outdated, even though the golden years of demoscene are over. I didn't have experience with Amiga, NES or C64. Therefore, thanks for showing the bits of the environment of those, for me foreign, worlds.

I'm glad that you like it and I was able to show you something new) In my youth I had computers ZX-Spectrum128 and later Amiga-1200. I decided to post videos on the channel with what inspired me then, as well as with music that I myself made on these computers :)

1:18 Nice try with the Spectrum emulator. Is this running on an actual Amiga or is this emul-ception?

  • @nnznikol

    @nnznikol

    Ай бұрын

Yes, a long time ago I ran ZX-Spectrum emulator on a real Amiga-1200. Here in the video is a recording from Amiga emulator, I tried to run ZX emulator in it and it also works) but it was very slow due to the fact that Symphonie is running in parallel and takes up almost all the processor time.
