The Bud/Postie ad is more akin to Osmosis Jones than Inside Out

Gentlemen, I'm sure you could do a great ongoing series on advertising and beer -- I know I would be interested. Designers, politics, the design history of brands. Surely a lot of meat on that bone.

Hoping so!

Few years back my dad bought a DVD of vintage beer ads from the 40s to the early 60s (USA), it's really funny how they gave you the hard sale: "Our beer is objectively better because of our quality ingredients, and organic mountain water, and statistically more people buy our beer than any other", even when there was a gimmick like a jingle or a cartoon with literal Soviet spies trying to reverse engineer our Capitalist Pig-dog beer recipes. Beer was probably close to water but at least they presented it in a proper pilsner glass!

I can confirm another Momoa drinks Guinness sighting. I saw him with a pint outside The Toucan in Soho a few years ago. He is clearly mad for The Black Stuff.

I actually met Jason Momoa at the Guiness Storehouse. He was going behind the par and pouring himself pints, it was very amusing.

Corona is definitely my guilty pleasure when it comes to macro beer, and that's mainly due to all the marketing they've done drinking it on the beach with friends, making memories etc. Imo the advert would have been better without any celebrities in at all 😂

As far as macro goes, Modelo (especially Negra) and Guinness are ones I love.

P.S. Re the perfume problem ... I used to be a copywriter and often advertisers are selling not so much the product benefits as the feeling they want customers to associate with the brand. I'm not sure exactly how that works with Lloyds Bank and horses running everywhere, but hey ho.

Their review of the Post Malone commercial was hilarious. Really cracked me up. I’ve read-watched in several times now.

Carlsberg has a limited version in Turkey called Carlsberg Luna.. It is Citra dry hopped unfilterred ipl.. It tastes great, sells good and appreciated a lot.. If you can reach one, please try and review..

You really need to see the Tui, and Speights beer adverts for beers to enjoy the humour. They may be 10 years old. But are iconic here in NZ. Tui also did a LOT of “Yeah Right, !” Billboard adverts that caused multiple car accidents. The Tui adverts would probably be regarded as ‘sexist’ by some, but we’re done with humour! ‘Tui, brewed in Mangatinoka’

Have you seen any previous Danish films with Mads Mikkelsen such as Pusher The Green Butchers It is Danish film at its best

Bud ad is ripping a segment from Woody Allen's Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex... Tony Randall in charge of the brain, Burt Reynolds in Sex Control etc.
