Hello, my friend :) Appreciate yet another video from you. I have a new dilemma now - Gladiolus :) Have you any experience growing them ? Are they like the Amaryllis bulbs too ? I have no experience with them but took the brave step to order some today.

Early spring
Is that the only way that you can have lovely flowers by planting them in a pot. I grow them in my garden but they don’t flower like yours,

Not really. They can bloom beautifully when growing in the grounds in zones 8-10, where they can overwinter outdoors.

I love amaryllis. I have a friend who grows them in his yard and the multiply and bloom great. I planted mine in the yard they were doing okay but we had a lot of rain. I removed them from the ground and the roots were getting mushy. I cleaned them and planted them in pots. They are getting better now but I lost a few. It's frustrating when you don't get the result you expect. Thank you for the video.

Why did cover the entire seedling bulb?

The little bulbs are weak in the seedling stages. Burying in the soil, for one thing, they won't get dry easily from the sunlight, and on the other can avoid bulb shrinkage in dry condition.
