no. it will be divided into phases and the first phase will most likely have less that 20 percent of the total project, first phase would most likely be completed in 5 years. First phase will probably have legislative and basic living projects.

You can’t build 50% of the whole city in 5 years. Realistically whole city would take around 20 years at least. Thats why it’s done in phases.

Amaravati is a party decision. It is not people's decision reflecting 100% voters or all parties' support. It misses the 40% support of the defeated YCP. People have not voted for Amaravati. YCP was defeated for other reasons. The capital city of AP should be decided by 100% people of AP, not with an absolute majority of TDP or YCP. For this, a commission ( the Sivaramakrishnan Committee) taking the people's opinion has already rejected a capital between Guntur and Vijayawada. Amaravati with nine cities can not be built even with an American budget for 70 years. Amaravati, a fertile area, is not suitable for strong concrete constructions and moreover cost-consuming. Even though Amaravati is developed with 1 lakh crores in phases, the area will be inundated someday. It will become a loss to the revenue of AP. YCP should also support being a people's capital. Otherwise, it is not guaranteed to continue as the only capital.
