Thanks for providing the alternative option for the bracket. ( Manfrotto 026 ) Saw plenty of videos and I donot recall any of them mentioning this option

I bought the X and mounted it on a Heil mic boom arm. Great desktop Zoom lighting solution. Excellent light.

I actually use the old Amaran panel on top of my gimbal for walk and talk shoots. with double the output this would be a great upgrade.

Hi, nice review! Whats lights did you use in this video when you speaking?

I waited forever for this panel as its been on backorder and it's great I guess. I'm seeing significantly different run times when using fully charged NPF970's I'm getting around 28min total. Also It does not charge the batteries while you're running the light at anything over 50% power.

Is this the successor to the Aputure Amaran Tri-8c? That panel seems to be have discontinued. The Tri-8C had an aluminum heat sink built into the design, but I never saw them in the field. I wish that they would bring back that design and also a decent yoke system. Hey

How it stacks up against a Luxli Timpani in terms of output ?

the Amaran D-Tap Power cable (2-Pin) is not available... can i cut the main power cable and ad d-tap plug (m/f) in order to use a V-mount battery with a P60C ?

Yes but nowadays the COB 60X is a really good alternative to it... without the multi shadows...

They are virtually silent. You have to put your ear right next to them to hear it.

What’s the beam angle on these?

Sorry must have missed that, on the data sheet it says 45 degree (Half-peak angle) Jake
