I agree. It’s definitely shooting her onto a whole new level. She has officially surpassed Lindsay Lohan‘s career (in terms of acting ability and fame) and up there with Rachel McAdams now. I do believe she’s gonna go much further though because she has shown such multidimensional aspects to her skills as an actor. You know Hollywood executives and directors are swarming this woman right now. It’s interesting what the last 20 years have done for the 4 woman in Mean Girls. Especially the 3. Starting the film Lindsay Lohan was the big name attached and after the film release she was on her way to the A-lister status. These other girls were pretty much forgotten soon after the release or only remembered for these roles in that movie. Fast forward today and LiLo is in the backseat and these other girls have come such a long way in their careers. Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams especially. The dark haired one is pretty much known for Hallmark and holiday movies. LiLo does have a Netflix holiday film coming out later this year that’s gotten a lot of publicity, so maybe that’ll bring her back somewhat but as for Amanda - absolutely fantastic and I look forward to what she brings us in the future.

So is Holmes...
It’s so weird watching Amanda Seyfried be the odd girl out on The Dropout because she’s spent so much of her career being the pretty, sorority, party girl. Especially knowing that her and Elizabeth Holmes are nearly the same age as well. Uncanny valley.

Ok but she has this woman down, for real. Seen the first three eps and it's actually a little eerie to watch her nail the mannerisms (not to mention the Elizabeth Holmes Voice).
Seth meyers is the most personable host yet! Watched the other late nights with Amanda and really saw a difference with this one.
She said "fasnacht" so many times that my brain is now inserting her saying "fasnacht" into that scene where she is saying "an inspiring step forward" in a deep voice over and over again. I am just picturing her in her dressing room before the show saying "fasnacht" in the mirror just like that.
She is so absolutely adorable and on point and smooth with everything she says. You can tell how thoughtful she is with everything she says yet still being cute AF.
Been hopelessly in love with Amanda Seyfried for going on eighteen years. This interview does not ease my heartache.

@@leyjam3788 Based on a best selling book that I never heard off, Seyfried plays Julie, a young New York City mother and children’s book author who, in the early moments of the movie, attempts suicide. She has been struggling with postpartum depression, her suffering too much to bear. It's basically about mental illness on postpartum depression which Seyfried's character suffered from and the movie managed to make us as audience feel what's inside her head and Seyfried was great in that movie. It's a quiet calm harmless drama movie, not a horror movie

Huh. I learned something new today. "Fastnacht (also spelled Fasnacht, or in Pennsylvania German: ) is an annual Pennsylvania Dutch celebration that falls on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. The word translates to "Fasting Night" or “Almost Night” in English. The tradition is to eat the very best foods, which are part of the German tradition, and much of them, before the Lenten fast. Fastnachts (pronounced /ˈfastnaxt/ in German) are doughnuts. There are three types of Fasnacht, one made with yeast, one made with baking powder, and one made with potatoes and yeast. All are slightly crispy on the outside and not as sweet as standard doughnuts."
