Amanda Bynes had all the qualities to be a superstar. She had looks, comic timing, charisma, talent, she was great in interviews. She could have been as big as Jennifer Lawrence or Emma Stone. But Nickelodeon and what they did to her destroyed her spirit and snuffed out her positive light. They violated and broke her. There is a special place in hell for Dan Schneider and anyone else who violated these children. Funny how Disney cops a lot of flak online, yet Nickelodeon gets less oine hate, despite what they did was monstrously worse. We never got to see her full potential.

How are people surprised that these child actors go “crazy”? They are succumbed to abuse of all kinds while having to put on a fake face for all the cameras. They were sold away by their parents so it’s much more depressing for them growing up and realizing they had absolutely no say in being used by their parents. It’s honestly heart breaking and so selfish for people to expect them to look like perfect beings in the media when NOBODY IS PERFECT NOBODY IS HAPPY ALL THE TIME NOBODY DOES ABSOLUTELY NO WRONG. I swear this world is so weird

@@ilovetarot1 i agree that her mental illness(es) were probably preexisting but it's a fact that combined trauma and coping mechanisms (such as drug use, which again, she was forced into) can cause mental illnesses to heighten and become more exhibited throughout an individual's behavior. the industry is what gave her this trauma and the industry is to blame for her growing up with a magnifying glass on her. therefore, yes it did certainly play a huge role in the deterioration of her mental health.

Watching her early interviews it seems like she wasn't her, she was playing a character. Always having to be upbeat, fill in a silence, constantly adjust to make sure she looks okay while glancing around to give off the impression of acknowledgement. Just all signs of putting on a mask, which eventually becomes tiresome and it can become very taxing on your mind-state to the point where you can possibly have a mental breakdown and value being away from people/rebelling. I know all of this because I sort of went through the same thoughts/exterior projection. I feel like this happened to her.

In college I used to be a TA for "Abnormal & Deviant Behavior" for a few semesters & we covered this exact topic WITH actual video footage of patients that succumbed to acid induced mania/psychosis. We also were able to see the scans of the brain & the damage it caused. Its absolutely PETRIFYNG & its all based on your body chemistry & if you get a bad batch. Its basically like playing Russian Roulette w/ your life. Some regression back to the mental capacity of a 6 year old. Also the overuse of ecstasy can cause the same PERMANENT damage to the brain. But im talking if your a chronic user, a serious addict of ecstasy. So please be careful people. It's no joke. Then you either become someone else's LIFE problem or you become institutionalized for life.

I use to say the same thing as you in regards to dropping acid, it is truly like playing Russian Roulette. I can see where ecstasy could have the same effect as they are similar compounds.
