I'm still stumped at Craigs 6 score 🤯... This should have been a clean sweep of 8s across the board to match her Week 2 score easily 🙌🏻! Regardless of scoring alone, Amanda just smashed it again for me, she's in it for the long haul & I am here for it 👏🏻.

Yeah as much as he’s honest I honestly think that sometimes his undermarking is ludicrous. Like Rose and Giovanni’s Argentine Tango in 2021, thank god for this, it was given a 10. But also like AJ’s Charleston, he knew very well it was a masterpiece but didn’t think hard enough to get his 10 out

Just adored this dance, they look fab together, should have been scored higher, shame on you judges!

Score - *8/10* I don't know how this was a 6 at all, beautiful extension and fluidity, such flexibility and lovely splits. I loved the classy approach to this Rumba it was lyrical and fluffy, Amanda has such a great line that really comes to light here. I thought the story was beautifully told, the connection to the floor was strong and she has such good musicality and ear for the music. Her arms are gorgeous, the coressing of the floor was amazing, beautiful leg action and very good chemistry from start to finish, I really enjoyed this. Another great choreography from Giovanni, it had quite Cherie Lunghi vibes I thought

*8/10* Incredible! Great Rumba especially for week 3, she’s absolutely a force to be reckoned with! That split was perfect too! My only negative would be it needed a little more hip movement, other than that, great job! Incredible choreography, but its Giovanni so we wouldn’t expect anything less.

No, he's always said thank you this way. He never knew until he met Rose that is was thank you in BSL. It's apparently an Italian thing to do hence why he does it, although perhaps not every Italian.

What an absolute farce from these judges! What the hell were they watching. In what universe is this dance worth only a 6?! Same score he gave Zara who has barely passable technique. He gave 8s to many deserved dances, but if Amanda got 6, then those were 4. In what universe did this not get any 9s, or even a 10?! So inconsistent. Amanda deserved way, way more. This was one of the best Rumbas I have ever seen! She's not even a dancer, this is new to her, and she did this in a week. Her shaping was immaculate, I barely see any contestant on Strictly do it as good as that. The splits! Wow! Her immaculate, sexy Rumba walks! Shirley even said she got it in a few days when it took her even longer. Even said those splits were better then her's. *So why is this barely an 8 while Eddie's bland as bread Street dance gets a 10?!* I say it's jealousy. She's jealous. And just as I was beginning to like Shirley again. Justice for Amanda.

I loved this Rumba. I'm not going comment anything about the two people, it has gone beyond that, the BBC has obviously allowed a culture to flourish that is just not appropriate in these days and times. Don't demonise individuals, everybody deserves the space to change, learn and grow.

Same. I think it had something to do with her walk, with the feet so turned out. You're not supposed to have your attention drawn to the positioning of the feet in a transitional walk. Maybe the music itself was too fast. Can't quite put my finger on it.

Agree with you and Craig's score. She was jerky and fast: clicked the remote too quickly and too much, walked oddly, and the ending: she almost marched with Giovanni back to the couch. Their walk back to the couch was not a continuation of the right mood.

This was such a great performance. Amanda showed such talent and musicality here. Such a shame that she decided to drop out, because I think she would have definitely been a contender for the glitter ball!

It was phenomenal, but there was something that was a bit odd? I can't pinpoint why I didn't particularly enjoy this dance, but nevertheless Amanda was brilliant. 7/10

He is a brilliant teacher and choreographer l was backing them all the way what a shame she left but worse l don't like how she treated Giovanni her ego got to big she wanted everything her way like NO LIFTS etc she did not like that Geovanni said YES we have to do lifts and she did them beautifully then decided that would be her last dance left Giovanni without a partner and did not even had the courtesy to thank him he had sent her a lovely message wishing her all the best NO ANSWER not a very nice person very disappointed in Amanda .....she showed her true colours 😠

Looks like a familiar scene. 🤔 I saw balloons in the air during my reading for Amanda in Morecambe. Just over Cumbria.

Well everyone's chemistry is different. It is only week 3 after all. Rose wasn't his partner in 2022. Gio went out early last year before Halloween.

Why no group dances Gio?

Apart from the unnecessary and weird Woos from the audience every 10 seconds, this was a stellar rumba which honestly deserved 10s. If Eddie’s going to score 10s for his Couple’s Choice where he rarely does anything or Adam’s going to receive high scores for his terrible Jive, surely Amanda should get 10s across the board.

Oh now this was just gorgeous. I will say notoriously I hate the Rumba and the reason being it can be such a stilted dance. But the thing is this dance was not and Giovanni really trained Amanda up well. If I was being SO picky I do think I would have liked to have seen a little bit more fluidity as at times it did seem like she hit a pose at times and it wasn't finished properly. But that being said it was really impressive. 7.

They could have won. My top faves. It is gruelling to train. And if perimenopause is on while woman is on SCD then mood swings, depressiveness, tiredness, irritability is another thing to deal with. Amanda Abbington and Giovanna Pernice Next dancing the Rumba to Bridget Jones Diarys. Not the biggest fan of Rumba because it is looked upon as being sexy however I preferred this one because it was less sexy and more romantic which is sweeter however it is safer and I saw very little hip rotation and her arm lines have to be extended out further however this paring is so amazing and I have a good feeling that they are in it for the long run.
