He has a a bit of Kimmich and Goretzka in him, no nonsense player but decent on the ball and that Casemiro presence in the middle.

@@aragusto CDM requires a player that keeps shape to a teams midfield structure which means you don't move around the pitch too much, you're always located centrally coz your primary job is to protect the defence. When you look at Onana he moves from one end of the pitch to the other which is what we call a box to box or an 8 position if you may.. I'm pretty clued up about this things having played semi-pro football nd having a brother in the professional ranks nd one in youth ranks.

Remember lewandoski in Bayern Munich 2020 under flick total football he played as a CDM in I think kimmich. Goal remember it doesn't matter which position you are seen at but majority onana has been protective of Everton defense otherwise if he isn't a CDM as you claim then who does that job and in Belgium too remember
