In this recording, the always lyrical Ama Ata Aidoo (1942-2023) honors her long-time friend, sister, "optimistic wanderer," and unbreakable Micere Mugo (1942- 2023). Mwalimu Aidoo transitioned on May 31st, 2023. A month later, June 30th, Mwalimu Micere joined her in AfterAfrica.

Great, humbling experience that you opened your house in Cyrucuse, we had a wonderful moment, the following day you chaired a women meeting as if you were somewhere in a Baricho village. You taught me humility. Rest in Peace Big, Sister daughter of the soil.
