A 'Special' Funeral for Micere Mugo's Daughter
Family and friends joined distinguished literature scholar and human rights crusader Professor Micere Mugo and dr. John Njuguna to mourn the passing of their daughter Njeri 'Kui' Mugo who succumbed to cancer on the 4th of October. In a memorial service at the Loresho P.C.E.A. community church, Njeri was described as a passionate woman especially on matters of child education and rights with the family hoping to set up an N.G.O. in her honor.

Mumbi, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May the Lord give you comfort and a peace that surpasses your grief. I have very fond memories of Njeri and deeply saddened, may the seeds she planted come to fruition through all those she impacted. God bless you and your family!
