Am I actually a Kublai Khan TX fan now?

When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.
Please do recommend songs or other artists for me to checkout in future by commenting on this video! I'm constantly on the lookout for great new music and things I've never heard before.

Best beatdown hardcore band. Matt Honeycutt is a beast. Guaranteed to get you 4 extra reps at max weight at the gym.

That slapped hard! It was the structure - short rhythmic elements that pulled me along with it and had me wondering what was coming next. Nice one Steve / Kier.
its pretty articulate and well thought out and structured for a hardcore band, like you have to say, they put some thought behind it. and it SLAPS
I love that you mention the sophistication. I think it’s so funny because I think the reason I love the band so much is the SIMPLICITY. Boom boom, glug glug, tat tat. It makes me wanna punch walls, and I’m not even an angry person. 😄

Music can be sophisticated without being complicated. Just straightforward hardcore.
Live in Sydney is the best sounding gig I have ever heard
Honestly, just stumbled on your channel by way of the algorithm. I can tell you aren't a hardcore or metal guy, but these guys are great at sounding simple but being subtly complex, both musically and lyrically. Personal favorites of theirs, BC, True Fear, and The Hammer

Definitely not a hardcore guy. I’m something of a metal guy though. Not all sub-genres of metal, but lots of metalcore and nu-metal.
This is the exact reaction you should have with Kublai khan on early listens. But it's intriguing so Now you go down a wormhole of heavy! Please react to more "swan song" and "boomslang" are full on upside-down face from start to finish.

“Full on upside-down face from start to finish” You have my attention 😄
I was at one of their shows a few months ago. I strained my wrist and i am pretty experienced when it comes to pits.
