That line hits me right in the kokoro "If the world gives you million reasons to back out then you should have a million reasons not to give up" I felt it because right now I felt like the burdens on the back of my mind kept pushing me down. That line is a good reminder for me not to give up easily!

This film had little to no promotions. I didn't even know it was out. Went to go see it, and it was great. A very underrated film.

Owens and his coach worked very hard to have him in peak condition for the Olympics. Marquette University's Ralph Metcalfe was usually the faster runner and was also black. Ralph got 2nd there at the 100m and was on the 4x100m relay team too.
Being black is a priviledge! Stand tall, square your shoulders, you have been created to stand out, and be victorious! 🔥🛐🔥

And black people can be racist to white people without consequences but when white people say something that’s not even racist and that person says “are you being racist?” Then it is.

? You mean humanity is beautiful. Because I doubt people really like referring to theirself as a "color", and not the individual and named person they are or tribe they descend from? But do,.
We watched this movie in my last year of high school back in 2016, Jessie Owens is one of the least talked about he did best he could do for his time and changed a lot of expectations because of it. God bless.
I'm black and proud!!

I'm so so glad that he showed them that he can win and that he is as good as anyone else I hate it when people are racist to anyone I believe that u should treat people how u would like to be treated and I wish that everyone was like it
Being in a racist country can really discourage someone to become the best that they have to be, it can reach that far and stagnate the development of the country !

I heard that Jessie was treated better in Germany than his home country USA
this story makes me proud; that the Nazis had to pause their bullshit to acknowledge the reality, that to measure greatness greatness could not be denied.
I love these recaps, even when i saw the movie 3 times💯 still best

There are a lot of people that are faster. But at the time he was the fastest and the fact that a black runner beat world records and proved to the world that black people could achieve things was so big at the time.
A real story based on Jesse owens
Sometimes I don’t understand why some race think that they’re entitle to hate on other races.
Great story for the global community, especially my grandchildren. Thank you for posting this.
Just a truly an amazing man. And a Buckeye.
As carebean black man i never kneuw that story, it gif me goosebums how mean peaple where to others. And when we died we all gose the same way. Very nicy story❤
17:28 Narrator: “Luz Long told me…” 😂 He didn’t tell you, he told Jessie Owens 😂
Excellent Story ❤ of a strong leader ✌️
I just realized that the man that acted Luz Long was also the actor of the legendary man city goalkeeper in the movie "Keeper" David Kross
I think everyone has his it's own life they have right to live we cannot discriminate anyone by there color bcz everyone is similar anatomically respect everyone 🙏🙏🙏
Did anyone noticed the Gradpa from Get Out in the movie
Awesome!!!
It's brilliant
Damn! Ted lasso has been coaching forever. Great story

Just because your black doesn’t mean your weak because the black ones are mostly the stronger ones
Good movie!
It legit says "ohio" on his shirt so classic
We are all human no matter the skin tone ❤
In many ways sad but a Grace story
I love all the races....but I think Morgan Freeman said it best in an interview.... When asked "How do we end racism?" He responded "Stop talking about it!!...." And I believe he is right!! He also said and I am now paraphrasing..."I'm gonna stop referring to you as a white man and I'm gonna ask you to stop referring to me as a black man".... I absolutely agree with him!!!! Why can't we just all be men and women.... Or heck I think even every one of us has names... lol Why can't we refer to each other by our names?? The whole color thing to me doesn't make much sense it's really all about the environment you are raised in and a little bit genetic....but we are all still human and people and that should be enough common denominator for us to love each other and come together!!!!
yes
Movie title pls
Using barriers is hilarious
“God does not ablages to always win and defeat is not a sin, what matters of if someone is willing to try or not.”
Fun fact, my high school’s sprint record is the same as Jesse’s in college
Jesse Owen's..
2:11 friends 😂😂😂
Jesse Owens is one powerful Sonic the Hedgehog 🇺🇲🥇
Luz long is like a brother to me now
I watched this video without any clue for 5 mins until I realized that it was none other than James Cleveland Owens.
Not many know he is not originally Jesse but James
Amazing no doubt. But, the harsh truth was that regardless of his medals and commitment to his country. Segregation remained prevalent. What an enduring and exhausting experience to face.
Always bless who you are..black,white or pink.
Also watch the movie 🎥 the Jesse Owen’s story. It’s really good. 😊
Not cause they put the down. It’s called being racist
Side note don't ever go to Jesse Park in South Central Los Angeles it is dangerous
This guy is on fire🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
This description of the movie isn’t completely accurate you got some things wrong
Me being black is the best thing because my stap mom that is white is so good and my white friend are so nice
Sadly Luz Long lost his life on 1943.
This is the first hard evidence that the Black Man was superior in certain human endeavors.
JESSE WE NEED TO RUN

Jesse owens is the track goat

If you’re wondering what is the guys name in real life, it’s Jesse Owens
This won't change the fact that he cheated on his gf.
This was in my text book 😂📖
I hate politicians 🙄
😊 this great black leader In sports! From Dr.tyrone Of Chester PA.

@@lizzylemon5551 never said life had to be perfect to be equal🤡 Everyone got the same ability’s to do what they want. people that say there is no equality are stupid. Because why do we all have the same features on our body? It’s easy to name cons from the other one’s opinion. But remember 2 sides can name cons. What you think is right. Can be wrong in my opinion. because we all got different arguments. So is it really a fact there is no equality. people got different opinions. The one will give arguments for yes. the other one for no. So what I’m trying to say. If you wanna believe there is no equality. Fine by me. think what you want. I’m still standing by my point.
