Brilliant build!! Very well thought out and outfitted. Great attention to detail! Dare I say approaching Humble Road level … don’t tell George!! I’ll not buy a van that uses wood, 80/20 all the way. A few suggestions: 1. The pullout toilet could be designed as a shower cabinet, if the toilet were lift out instead. Also, install a toilet paper roll with cover inside the cabinet either way. 2. Place a table mount on the bed frame to use the table while in bed. 3. Cut the corner of the sink cover, if you want to market it as a cutting board. You don’t want a hole in the center of your cutting board. 4. Take the van to the next level by covering the back doors and slider to enhance the look and provide insulation. 5. Protect the under cabinet from warping/staining by installing a metal or glass sheet to defuse cooking steam. 6. Add some company badging, you deserve it!!

Nice rig. The only thing I would suggest is transitioning to compost toilet and switching to 12v ACs. I imagine it would creep up the cost a little, but it makes a huge difference.

First I'd like to thank my husband for sending me here. Second: You had me at A/C. Just some things I won't compromise on, and that is an A/C

I would love to see some type of magnetic screen for the slider entrance. This van is perfect.

Love this build. How has insulation of the floor been addressed?

I think so many vans are overbuilt. I mean, they're cool and all, but they've become like HGTV design competitions. I don't see the point of spending so much money on vans that will eventneed to be replaced. Then what? Build again? Yes. Or replace the engine and/or transmission. So I would rather be practical and build something like this. And I'm sure most of this can be removed and transferred to another van fairly easily. I want to do van life full time, and I want to be able to recoup my investment in under two years. There are ways to make a van a home more simply, but with quality work, like this.

I have a 2016 Promaster with factory windows in the rear doors. Does anyone know if/who makes replacements that will open?

Heat? Is there room for an additional battery in your battery area?

I think the build is a pro master 118 wheelbase ram pro master 1500... The 136 wheelbase has cargo area about eighteen inches longer.

This is a 136 wheelbase. There is no high roof option for the 118 wheelbase.

Hi guys, can I ask what size series of 8020 do you typically use on your builds. I picked up a bunch of the 15 series (1.5") but I think from what I've seen, I could have gone with the 10 Series. Thoughts? BTW, your builds are strong and I can appreciate that.

Hey Brian. I use only 15 series. 10 series itself is fine but I worry about the smaller 1/4" fasteners. Much weaker. The weaker fasteners and the more annoying to deal with connectors(size wise) are why I have stick with 15 series.
