@@joshgarner805 I bought 2 garmin 93sv uhd units at black Friday and dropped them off at the dealership this morning, I'm about 2 weeks away from bringing it home!!

I own the same boat with 90 Sho Yamaha. Awesome. Very pleased, I have the Eagle trailer which is solid with 4 crossbars and metal fenders, led lights etc.

I wish I has the SHO Yamaha but I have played with the prop since I bought the boat and I have found an awesome setup. I'm running a Solas titan stainless 17 pitch prop and I can run 42mph with it. My hole shot is also a lot better. I'm going to make another video in the spring showing all the tweaks I have made to the boat.

Great info! I was looking at the new 2021 Competitor FSX 175 and heard people always saying go to the 185 because its not enough room for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). I guess to each their own but to me I think there is plenty of room in both a 165 and 175. Thanks for the video!

Yeah everyone was telling me the same thing but these new boats are so wide now that you really don't need the length like you used to. My dads boat is a 1995 Trophy 185 and my boat is wider then his is. So really there is more fishable space in my 165 verses his 185. Plus price plays a huge part in buying a boat. I would have loved to get a 185 but the price difference between the 165 and 185 was huge and not worth it in my eyes.

@@joshgarner805 Thanks for the info! Yeah I couldn't agree more on the price difference. A 175 is the biggest I can fit in my garage and if a 165 is still able to fit a family of 4 and fish 4 I may even look into that size too.

Layout on Classic way better for me , that Competitor .Inclosed side storage for rods way nicer to keep rods , I do not bring 20 rods :) also to step in and out the boat . Lifewell on Classic is huge , no problem for large king at all .Also you do not have to lift seat to access it . Second storage in the back allows for installing second battery If you want run Downriggers . That floor is slippery as hell too .

Great boat! Just got a nice used one myself. Have you figured out that damn live well valve dial?

Mines just an open and closed. When its closed the live well holds water and open drains it.

Is that double seat in the back something that can be added after the fact? I think you said that. I have this exact boat minus that double seat and the vinyl floor covering.

Yes I believe you can. It's just screws on so if you can find one it should be easy to install.
