How about those toe area? Does anybody notice there's no toe protection some sort of guard.
seeing a lot of toe creasing in the upper. that worries me
Where can i get the black Altra Hoody? 😀
The upper will have holes in it within 100 miles but man - that is one good looking shoe

Keeping fingers crossed that's not the case. But I understand. Some models have hole issues.
Looks like Brian is running on his home trails. He knows where to place his feet.

After all the waiting, Timp (standard) is too narrow a fit for me, so maybe next time Mont Blanc...
I had the Mont Blanc for a few days and wound up returning back to RunMoore - it was light but I like my other sneakers better such as Nike Trail Pegasus 3 Gortex and my Asics TRABUCO MAX better... this is my second try on the Altra and I returned them both- the other was the Olympus 4 - they just don't fit comfortable in the heel and arch for me

The upper on this shoe concerns me a little the trails I run have rocks and roots all over the place and I don’t see the upper on those shoes taking the abuse
Just got them in the mail and theyre trash. The sole is too stiff for that upper, your foot doesn’t feel locked down, because the midsole doesnt bend with your foot

Altra Duo was a horrible shoe. Sorry Altra, among the worst. Tossed it after 50 miles. Picked up small stones and pebble like nothing else.
I bet that upper doesn’t even make it to 150 miles
