You couldn't of started that video better Shawn. With everything that has gone on etc it's great to stay on the positives of the park and there is so much more to it than 1 rollercoaster and hopefully we can all move on and it stops the comments of "Shawn, what do you think of The Smiler incident?" Lets all move on and stay positive about the future of the UK's no1 Theme Park :)

You guys seem to be having lots of fun in those shops, surprised nothing fell to pieces in the Lego one. Alex was so funny in this vlog.

i can't begin to explain the amount of jealousy i have for you! To have such an amazing place right on your doorstep is incredibly lucky! Alton Towers is about a 7/8 hour drive away from me and if i could i would live there. Some day i do hope to work there for the summer or whatever just to experience it all from a different perspective but also just to be there and take it all in everyday would be amazing! Your vlogs for AT are so good and detailed i love to just sit back and watch the beauty that is Alton Towers.

Alton Towers is awesome especially Oblivion I live that ride I remember sitting at front row definitely got the wow factor I know doesn't last long but it is awesome same for nemesis love them both

I know this was filmed after the smiler crash but to be honest at the end of the day it is still a good ride and you did a good thing not to mention it in the vlog. I think that people should not be put off after what happend because if you think about how many people ride it it isn't dangerous at all

best log flume i've ridden is terra miticas when i was 10 years old, jjst love the theming to the egyptian area plus the second drop surprise of going backwards down it, making those at the back think they are going to get soaked (and they do)

Good luck. TIP: When It goes pitch black you will drop a little but don't worry it's really not that bad, I went on it when I was 7😊 Hope I helped

I would have thought you got enough ice cream at the last park that you didn't have to steal Alex's :).

Its wierd to look back on the tough circumstances the park was in back then and also seeing some footage of oblivion without hearing ha ha ha ha ha in the background

My mum rode Nemesis and Oblivion when she was younger but she hated both! Lol

I absolutely love Alton Towers. I think it is a big shame about the hammering that it has had in the media recently. Nothing that has happened recently has put me off the park, it is so unbelievably safe, and will only get safer now.

I know. Countless theme parks have had accidents, some have even had fatalities, but they are still going strong. I hope Alton survives. I would be heartbroken if the park closed

+grace tankard Me too. An accident is an accident, and the park should be safer than ever now they know what caused the crash. I've personally never been but even with the Smiler incident I'd love to go someday.
