All your Alta reviews are great. I only found out about Alta recently and I find them fascinating. I’m really hoping I can listen to some Alyssa’s or Alec’s soon!

Thanks for the intro to this speaker manufacturer and range. Not in my future, unfortunately, but I am sure many will probably enjoy them.

Great review! Have you heard the new Estelon Aura? If so how do they compare to these?

Attended the CAF 23 show and heard these with Infigo electronics. IMHO this room sounded better than rooms with systems exceeding half million dollars. I have heard von schweikert vr9s in a properly treated room that used to be my reference until now.

I was all hyped out about Alta audio & was super excited when somebody in my cty decided to bring them in. However, they sounded very disappointing for me. Very muffled & overly thick. Bass was overpowering as well. The amps used to drive them were Krells. Perhaps it was the room i m not sure. I went to listen to them again the 2nd time with the spks repositioned & the outcome was the same.

I don't have space in my house for a dedicated media room, and my wife likes to keep the living room looking "designery". That is, two big bulky speakers plus a sub are going to be a no-go for her. Does anyone have a suggestion for a home theater solution where the speakers are fairly small or look good with other household decor? As it is, I'm stuck just listening the the stock tv speakers, which aren't terrible but I know I'm missing out.

Go for some solid on wall speakers like Totem Acoustics Tribe IIIs or Vs, Wisdom Audio P4Ms, or Theory Audio SB25s. They’ll stay out of the way and really don’t take away from the room if not add to it.
