Nice piece for a level one, the ability it add the chest onto it is an excellent idea. The slim design will make it an excellent option under a textile jacket that would normally just have a foam insert.

I have the KR-3 which had bought from you guys .. like it very much , my only compliant is the waist belt Velcro does not hold and stick together like should . Do you think they have addressed this issue with this KR-cell one ?

just bought one of these so I assume its the newer version, and the velcro is very very strong

Rory Thomas me too bought this one about a year ago and been wearing a lot and it’s fine .. the KR3 I had was the one with the velcro female aside wearing out quickly , getting fuzzy and not sticking anymore . Good luck hope you will enjoy it . Ps I like this one for how thin it is and if your a tight fit in a suit this one really helps

Both are great and offer a lot of protection. This one here is pretty flat, so have more space in your suit or jacket.

Both will get the job done for sure. Of the 2 you mentioned the KR1 is a touch nicer and offers a little more protection IMO. - Van
