AlphaZero finds the perfect opening?

This video shows a chess opening that was played by the chess AI AlphaZero. We know this Gambit as the Evans Gambit, but AlphaZero didn't know that. It had to invent its own openings, since it hasn't been given any access to opening books. Enjoy this video about opening strategies. This is how to win at chess as a beginner or intermediate or even club or tournament player. Subscribe!

Guys there's background music throughout the ENTIRE video, you just can't here it because it's so quiet 😂 I'm still figuring this whole KZread thing out 😂🫡 Anyway, this opening is actually insane, enjoy the video :)

Alpha Zero just playing the Evans Gambit is absolutely nuts
@STJukes

It didn't choose to. This game both engines were forced to play it up until a certain move. AlphaZero would not play Evans on its own.

@@STJukeswas about to comment this as well. It would not play the Evans gambit by choice. I think it actually prefers the Catalan if it is given free choice.

Excellent channel. You go straight to the point without anything unnecessary, which I really like. The content is very good in substance too, definitely every beginner needs to learn about the Evans Gambit, a favorite of Alphazero and Paul Morphy alike

Evan‘s Gambit used to be my fav opening, but since this stupid chess hype I can no more surprise anyone with it! 😭
notes cause i keep forgetting the lines 1:33 if knight takes still do d4 1:43 if pawn takes castle 1:47 if they take another pawn blow up their defense and sac the bishop after king takes queen d5 and take the bishop 2:15 after taking the pawn if they dont play nf6 you threaten qxg7 2:30 if they dont take castle build up an attack on f7

I’m glad to say I found this channel at 12k cause he’s gonna have 1 million some day
I dont subscribe that often but i did subscribe this. THIS channel is just amazing. i used this openning and now i have gained 200 elo till now from watching this video
Man I hope your channel goes big and you can make a living out of it. Have been beating many asses with the Halloween's gambit since I watched your first video. Keep it up!!
This is an insane gambit and I am really grateful that you made a video about it in a hilarious yet informative way! I've been playing this gambit the entire time including the different variants and I've been having an absolute blast with it.
Thank you for this video. I saw this, bought a book on Evans gambit, and actually learned the lines. I am now crushing people rated 600 above me.

Underrated chess channel
After Qd5+ Ke8, if you go Qh5+ before taking the bishop then most players will go g6 opening the diagonal on the h8 rook (which conveniently is lined up with the pawn on c3 that you take with your queen after taking the bishop)
Omg I just played it got my second brilliant move and won thank you so much this opening is legitimately unbeatable
This style of play is my go to for 1min games. Its so much more fun to play this for me rn than any other openings.
This turned from 2 engines playing against eachother to an explaination of all kinds of openings
Worth pointing out if your opponent plays 2 ... Nf6, you can go 3. Nc3 trying to transpose to the Four Knights Game, from which you can play the Halloween Gambit
Thank you, LOVE your way of explaining, it's compatible with my way of thinking. I feel like I'm learning chess like Neo in the matrix
Looks really interesting lol im sure this channel will grow huge in some time just keep up the good content

@anonymousaxolotl

@@Merluch yeah the traxler is really tough to play against, i think it's possible to still take the pawn with knight but i try not to play anything risky so i take with bishop instead and try to consolidate
that was a trip dang
guys hes back
Really cool vid! Been trying this openning with bots and I've had trouble with one move tho. What do you do if they retreat the bishop to A5 and then when you go queen b3 they put their queen in f6 instead of f7, what's the best way to approach that? Cause I've tried bishop G5 and so on, but did not have a great time lol
4:28 people often take the pawn with knight but instead of taking the pawn, they should re-route their knight to Na5, attacking the bishop. If they move pawn, you can simply take the bishop. If knight fork you, you can take with the king. After that, some players might try to move the pawn for discovered check on the king but then you simply take bishop with re-routed knight. Thats one way to destroyed fried liver attack if you can't learn the traxler counterattack
We need more
