Alpha Kappa Alpha ICONS - Film, Music & Television: The Honorary Members Edition
Honorary membership is Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.’s highest honor and awarded to distinguished women whose works and contributions parallel AKA’s ideals of achievement and service.
The Academy Award (also known as The Oscar), the Grammy Award and the Emmy Award are the highest honors awarded in film, music and television.
In Los Angeles, CA. in June of 2022, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. gathered four honorary members of the sorority - who are award-winning icons in film, music and television - for a photo shoot for a special digital Boule 2022 cover of Ivy Leaf magazine to highlight Target 4 of the 2018-2022 AKA administration-The Arts!

Young Christians embarking on the college journey and considering joining a sorority or fraternity be prayerful, notice I said prayerful not careful. There are evil roots associated with sororities & fraternities. Do your own research on them, and don't be swayed because so many other believers are sorors or frats. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit is saying.

I'm glad someone said something. I was surprised when I saw Yolanda Adams being that she considers herself to be a Christian Gospel artist. Not to mention their are lots of men and women who consider themselves to be believers yet are apart of these demonic fraternities and sororities. As the bible says in Isaiah 58 "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins"

I agree. This didn't sit in my spirit right at all especially if they are Christians. the Bible said to be separate from the world and come out from among them. Joining these frats/sororities are basically allowing yourself to be agreement with those false gods.

These women were only selected and made honorary AKA's because they're famous. Even Brady and Tracee Ross were made honorary AKA's. There should be no honorary AKA's. These women should pledge like the other women in these organizations. I call Honorary Divine 9 members fake members because they didn't pledge undergrad or a Graduate chapter like other women. I will say this about the AKA's oppose to the Deltas and Zetas, the women in the AKA's tend to be very stylish and classy of all black Sororities. Calling all Sorors to the floor, Alpha Delta, we got some here and we need some more. 😀 😃 😄 😁 😆 😅 😂 🤣
