Don’t lower your standards. Raise your awareness. If the world was as small as we anticipate our lives should be as large as our ability to operate. The problem is that the world is bigger than we appreciate and more complex than we can navigate. Speak less, listen more.

Dr. Sonja worked out for at least 21 years, she had to as a member of the military. She had to pass physical fitness tests regularly. It makes sense. Muscle memory is real and she had to develop and/or be disciplined about good habits for 21 years. So what I'm hearing is that currently she doesn't eat bad food and that discipline from the military still applies today.

My first government job was military stoked focus but not soldiers instead adjudicated youth. It was the hardest thing to do was running with cadence. It was a major switch from do what you can to do what you do until relieved of duty.

I learned very young if you tell a lie you had to keep telling more lies for 1 lie and remember the lies. I chose yo tell the truth to act in truth because it was easy. I didn't have to remember. I only have what has happened and what I have done. There's no seesaw. It may appear rigid but it's the only accuracy I know. It's not to expose anyone. I won't be exploited. I have adult trauma too. I was not bullied as a child. Was in combat for not judging others.

Marriages are not "meant" to be for a "season," as you say, Jamal. Otherwise, the vows wouldn't say 'til death do us part.' I certainly look forward to hear how you will state YOUR vows in the new marriage. Looking forward to it!

Thank you Pastor Jamal for leading and doing the work. Bridging the gap… from the pulpit to the streets. Spiritual Conversations… I heard you speak for the first time three days ago at PNEX 2024 in Charlotte. REfRESHING ✨ Dr Sonja is such an inspiration for me… and I personally do not believe these type of women are welcome in the black church unless they’re in the kitchen sweating, or making the pastor cakes and pies. That’s been my experience. 28 Million in three years! Incredible. This is what it takes for Us to move forward as a people. I love Dr Sonja’s authenticity…. She’s a true warrior, embracing both masculine and feminine. So much Wisdom and Agape love represented between you two. Essence of SELF. Great conversation, Gods Work. Thank you

I hate when people say God sent me my spouse. God didn't send you that person, you chose that person. People choose who they want to marry or allow in their life. In layman's term life is like a buffet you choose who and what you allow in your life.

That's truth like likes like except msy not look or feel you're like or look like what you like. I grew up most my life with my closest people not necessarily intimate family saying I'm uncle Tom or lover of white people or constantly experiencing identity crisis. Neither, non nor nonono. I go with always what I believe I can be successful. I have never had time to waste my time or lose whatever I have. I most often was in no other people of color environments. Yes sometimes it was tight but the sardines and loaves of bread was filling for all in the package of what was occurring. Everybody left with or at least I dud saying I want to do it again. I looked at education as a piece of paper but now I'm on no lists, no calls to any event, no job, no husband and still some peace not a piece.
