One thing to know about Haitians is that we are multi dimensional. Yes some of us are poor, some of us are uneducated, some of us do voodo but please note many of us are highly educated, Christian, and well of. There isn’t one field or one place that you will not find a Haitian. We are everywhere and are very successful!

If Jamal Bryant parents were married over 50 years, why did he not strive to stay married to his wife that he had 3 children with? WAS HIS PARENTS MARRIAGE BAD, but they stay together anyway?

I resonate and appreciate the part when he asks her if she healed from the abandonment and she said no. Because you shouldn’t change the answer to such a question to make people comfortable. That is a pain will never fully heal, it’s something you have to live with. And that’s the truth when it comes to childhood trauma.
I love Jessie Woo. She is such a blessing. Pastor Jamal, keep your word and meet with her dad. I want healing for Jess
Jessie is so beautiful and speaks so eloquently…
Thank you Ms. Jessie for being you and the whole of you. As an Haitian mother I can say you’re teaching the Haitians youngsters how to embrace their Haitian culture and be American in one breath. I love you child. May God’s love continue to shine in your life. You are enough and you are beautiful inside and out.
Never knew this side of Jessie … I love her .. she’s so genuine and down to earth🌹
What I love about this is it was a conversation more than an interview. I love Jessie's vulnerability while also being strong in her principals and culture. Truly enjoyed this.
Such an intelligent, articulate, and beautiful young woman. 💃🏽💕💕💕👸🏽
I appreciate Jess being so open and vulnerable...I pray healing a finds you Jess. So much of this was relatable...abandonment issues are heavy and I came from a 2 parent home with parents I believe were in survival mode. Great listen
My heart really goes out to Jessie concerning her dad. I had my dad and he decided to get on drugs and because a distant cousin type. I really missed who I thought he was and I'm always jealous and grateful when I see other girls/women who have their dad. Dads really need to know how much they're needed and wanted. I also love how Jessie stood on business concerning Pastor Kennon. And I'm not that shocked that he changed his mind once it was someone he didn't think had the star power that Jess Hilarious does. It appears he has aligned himself with those who have star power.
I absolutely love Jessie Woo. This was an amazing interview. Big ups to Dr. Jamal Bryant!
Thank you for sharing her story! She is an amazing woman..May God continue to bless her.

Yaw gotta be kidding me. Jamal Bryant. The Marijuana Preacher. Yaw got be kidding me. JESUS WOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!! OF HIM AND JAKES
The hyper sexuality in our community has to be addressed. We have seen how it has negatively impacted those who have obtained top positions to open the doors for others of us & how it has stained blk elite families, and blk wealth.

This interview show's there's differences in us all, beauty and talent is a gift God has measured out to us all.
this was healing, as a black woman that is 3 generations removed from her haitian culture.

Great interview... You know what Pastor Jamal....I think a lot of us would love for u to interview your Sister....Think that would be awesome ❤
Pastor Keon or whatever his name was should have been as loud with an apology as he was spreading the lies about Haitians.

Very good interview. Truth Trumps pretense anyday. It is not all about us, It is all about Christ. It is also important to our culture, what can we offer to those on the rise. Jessica, you have a beautiful spirit God will not abandon you. The Poet .Maya Angelo, says, "Still I rise" Blessings my Sister.
Such a touching and real conversation. Shout out to all of us healing.

Real and authentic.✅
This interview was awesome! I love how transparent Jessie was…I love her!
Love Jessie.
This is so real....she emotional
The irony of this interview is outstanding. Jessie Woo is talking about her father to someone that has displayed similar actions as her father. I agree with what Jamal Bryant said about predominantly White ministries. I hope all of them are not like that.

Right. I wonder what God is trying to reveal to her.

It may be God speaking to Jamal about how the actions of men have actually impacted women but how God has saved them despite their inability to be the men they were called to be or have previously failed.

Jamal sold drugs and pimped out women? Did Giselle or his children told you they haven’t seen him for over 10 years? I’m looking for the similarities.

I love me some Jessie Woo 🇭🇹
Say that slow, I got a GED 😂😂
Jessie Woo ❣️
Excellent interview. Thanks for keeping it 💯 Jessie
I enjoyed this 🎉
Damn fathers leaving mothers with multiple kids really create a lot of trauma. I’m on the part Jessie is talking about having to be a parent to her younger siblings bc her mom was exhausted from playing the role of 2 parents. Therefore she could get the mothering she needed, nor the fathering bc her daddy abandoned all of them. Life is wild.
Wonderful interview ❤
This episode was outstanding! Loved it all! My two guys! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I enjoyed this too much
I pray you find the healing needed to move forward and be the woman/mom you needed when you were younger❤ it’s a journey sis most Haitian girls have to go through myself included ♥️🇭🇹
GREAT CONVERSATION !
