I watched his interview about this song, it’s a true story of Fanta Diallo his sweet heart who died young. After that interview I fell in love with this song even more given that it was a true story, it’s very emotional.

This song takes me back to mid to late 90s as a child in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. A radio banger that just came back into my memories randomly. I googled Sweet Sweet Fanta Dialo, not knowing who the artist is, just remembering the melody and those 3 words. I thank Alpha for making this banger

This song can never go away from my memory. It's reminds me of my late father. He likes playing it for me when I am back from school, then in my teenage years when l was still in JSS1 and 2. That was between 1989 and 1990. Powerful song!
