This is an authentic real look at what off grid alpaca farming is really like. We are NOT a hobby farm having an alpaca baby every once and awhile. We raise, breed and sell alpacas full time and this is how we survive and make money as an off grid alpaca farm and homesteaders. Alpacas provide us with abundance in many forms. Financial abundance by placing high quality registered alpacas with other farms or new farms just getting started. BUT we are also rich with fiber! The alpacas bless us with their fiber every year when we shear them. We don't outsource the fiber processing - we do it all ourselves sustainably. And we transform the alpaca fiber into wearable art that is functional like hats, mittens, gloves etc for us to wear and stay warm and also sell to others! Its creative process and a beautiful process to connect to the alpaca fiber with our own hands! Plus they also bless us an abundance of alpaca poop! The alpaca poop becomes the soil biomass in our gardens! We are grateful for the alpacas and all the resources we harvest from raising them. The alpacas increase our resiliency and because of them we sustain our off grid lifestyle full time!
