Alone In The Soundlounge Episode 4: Psychedelia In EastBlock

Alone In The Soundlounge is a show where I play interesting, lesser-known music to help make your playlist a little less basic. I try to keep an open mind to all genres of music so hopefully, there's something of interest for every person. The days of awesome radio shows such as SNC are sadly gone but that doesn't mean we can't try to remake that informal, music-loving atmosphere online.
I do not own the music played in the video. These videos are for educational purposes only.

This series is so good! One question, What does “SNC” stand for in the sentence from your description: “The days of awesome radio shows such as SNC are sadly gone”?

SNC stands for Stas Namin Center. Founded by Stas Namin (as the name suggests), the SNC brand would help out Soviet bands by giving them quality studios to record in and then release their records to the major public (for example). One of Namin's projects was the SNC radio. The SNC radio was the first radio in Russia dedicated to Soviet Alternative Rock, Punk, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Experimental Rock and other genres that were ignored by the mainstream.
