Five Post-Punk Acts From The Post-Soviet Region

Five random Post-Punk acts from the Post-Soviet region that I enjoy. The video talks about Roman Sidorov (Роман Сидоров) and his projects such as Der Golem, Sedativ and Fatal. The legendary 90s Georgian scene as represented by the bands such as Plakqsa and Children´s Medicine. The cult underground band from Russia called Mat Tereza (Мать Тереза) as well as underground legends from Kazakhstan called Alternativnaya Kosmonavtika (альтернативная космонавтика).
All footage and music belong to their respective owners.

I want to express my greatest respect to you. As has always been the case in Russia, all the stories and biographies of Russian culture were collected in Europe. Thank you for continuing the tradition

Ох, далеко не часто можно найти подобный контент. Как то ранее сам в тик токе людям освещал прелести пост совкового андера. Все группы до боли знакомые и любимые

His Ambient stuff is great, we will talk about it in a special episode dedicated to Russian Ambient/atmosphere stuff. My favorite Sidorov project is Fatal but overall, they are all worthy of attention.

"This video does not contain Molchat Doma or, god forbid, Buerak" if their fans weren't already busy watching Russian Doomer Music vol.3792, they'd be very upset right now. a nice vid per usual. your thumbnail game and editing are becoming pretty polished

Check out Апельсиновое безобразие, 90's Ukrainian gem from the city of Kremenchuk. They have released ~20 (?) tape albums, gradually progressed from kind of bard-rock to sophisticated art-rock then dirty noise, rave and to the pop (!), finally. Speaking of Ukrainian, Цукор бiла смерть was very unique in their sound. Would be nice to meet this bands in your next videos. Thanks for reviewing this great slices of underground culture.
