i had so much footage to edit i didn't even realize how long this vlog was getting omg. but so much happened! my surgery recovery went well, especially because i had so much time and motivation to walk around post-op. i was a bit limited on what i could comfortably eat, but korea has so many food options that it wasn't too big of a deal. mostly means i have to stick to soft desserts, oh noooo poor me~
it's also a new experience to essentially "travel alone," though the traveling part is kinda over. so i guess it's more "being alone in a new country" that's new. i had such a lovely time though!

Wow being alone in a foreign country is something but getting surgery abroad in a country you know nothing about without the support of friends and family is on a another level of bravery. Im in awe Anika! Such a brave woman I could never do either one of those things 😅

I feel you about feeling lonely when eating by yourself. I recently felt it in a restaurant in the mountains, surrounded by groups of people eating together, laughing a drinking... but then you realise it's just a fraction of time, and other times you will spend it with friends or family. It's not like we're alone all the time 😊

I think you are so brave and just amazing for being out there alone and being OKAY! In my 20’s I thrives on being by myself, going to Starbucks and just writing in my notebook or watching anime on my computer lol I have a family of my own now and get so anxious and lonely without my husband and kids, it’s ridiculous 😅 enjoy these beautiful moments by yourself, I hope you don’t rush into getting a family anytime soon, but if you ever do you can look back at this and you can pay yourself on the back for giving yourself the time you wanted and needed! Idk what I’m saying 🥴
