CU's rich tuna mayo 삼각김밥 is probably my favourite flavor, but I recommend buying the 3x size, because they really load it with the tuna mayo. It's ₩1100 for the regular versus ₩1600 for the 3x. Well worth the extra cost. No other convenience store's tuna mayo comes close to quality and tuna mayo portions. There was also that one time CU tried mixing in cucumber into their tuna mayo and it was also really great, but it was only for 1 summer season, I believe. And I also really miss their 참치비빔 flavor.

Tbf, they probably are very unhealthy as things like instant noodles will probably contain a lot of preservatives or stuff like the chicken breast stick will also be full of similar preservatives/artificial flavouring, they just look different to what we normally consider bad and so we're like oh it must be yummy xD

I've never been to Korea and being 66 and disabled, will probably never get the chance but I LOVE your adventures in Korean convenience stores. A note that I would add is that you say you love junk food, but I don't really consider boiled eggs, coffee, those seaweek snack cakes etc to be junk food. They are convenience foods but definitely not 'junk'! Please keep them coming!!

I'm so jealous that Convenience stores in Asia have microwaves for the public to use. I'd be using my microwave toastie maker all the time with the sandwiches. 30:51 I had a reaction like that with hoisin sauce and cream cheese together. A match made in heaven.

As an korean, at 7:46, when she was naming the eggs, in my household, we use gyeran when saying eggs. I don't know which one is used the most but in my house hold we use gyeran
The two 24hr videos are a perfect summary of what I was eating during my month in korea lol
I love how she explains food taste 😭 now i wanna have them so bad 🥲

everybody in the comments shocked by Korean convenience stores and nobody notices the amount of food (even though it was lunch time) Dooby can consume in just one meal. she deleted videos and unbiased comments that had the most likes (against her). heres sth from reddit "Essentially it was about her defending her actions and gave point by point reasons. Lol she started off by saying she will address the landlord as, “him” instead of calling him names like in the other videos. Tbh I didn’t finish watching the entire vid lmao, it was too cringe for me. Imagine recording the evidence that will be used against you. It’s something Michael Scott would do."

hi Dooby! thanks so much for your videos, I especially like these little slice of life videos. I was born in Korea, but was adopted to Australian parents. Not fitting in to either culture makes me really appreciate when I get to see what life is like in Korea or America
I love both onigiri and triangle gimbap. And love that you mentioned the history and more indigenous flavors. But I just thought I’d mentioned Tuna-Mayo is not necessarily a Korean combo although it’s popular. It’s credited to Seven Eleven Japan and it was popularized in Asia as a whole
For me as a Brazilian, it is so strange to see in many other places of the world people like iced coffee, as here we usually drink it hot. I mean we have it here but the traditional one is hot for sure. But I envy so much these convenience stores you have in Korea and Japan. Everything is so clean and organized, and you always have all kinds of meals and for a cheap price. I wish we had it here. Or better, I wish I can visit these countries and have this experience myself someday hehe
