"Lithium" is the second single from Aloe Blacc's upcoming EP "Rock My Soul: Volume I." Aloe shares, "Although my artistic expression originated in hip-hop and soul, Nirvana has had as much of an influence on me as any other music from the '90s." While "Smells Like Teen Spirit" would have been the obvious choice for a cover, he felt that "Lithium" presented an opportunity to create something truly unique and special.
Aloe Blacc's upcoming album "Rock My Soul: Volume I," set to release on June 7th, is packed with funky, soulful, and jazzy covers of alternative rock songs. Each track beautifully reimagines these tunes in Aloe's classic style, blending soulful melodies with funky rhythms.
