oh my...I absolutely love this. I too have done spoken word but am now sleeping on it. I got bogged down by school and in classes where I felt I could not measure up to other poets. I could not interpret the writing. I realized I am more of a spoken word type poet. I pray I can write and speak on a subject that will influence people spiritually, like this young man did. He is straight preaching the truth! I just love this..Very inspirational...spiritually and as a poet...He was hitting it at every angle and allowing God to use him!

It's about feeling a true joy, and being able to abandon (if needed) all earthly ties. It's about faith, and being certain of what you have no proof of. You might think it's a shot in the dark, but it was the best decision I ever made. Don't listen to people who tell you God is this judgy, hateful being, He isn't. He loves you so much, and sees you so beautifully, with so much potential. He wants to show you what you can do, and bless you. But He can't if you don't let him.

Ezekiel Azonwu's poems are really great. Salvation is not a one time thing. Salvation is a life time of repentance, faith, and good deeds. Faith without works is dead and work without faith is dead. He is an orthodox christian even though he don't know it now.

I don't understand what is it that the Bible says that Christians don't get.. . That's the religious strong holds on your mind but Christianity is NO RELIGION!!!..... "Religion is humans trying to work their way to God through good works. Christianity is God coming TO men and women THROUGH JESUS CHRIST".....if the Bible STATES this is our only way to salvation, this is our only way to the father who are we not to submit to his word?? Who are we to question his word?? Even after Christ Sacrificed for you. Do as many charitable things as you please but it profits you nothing in regards to the kingdom. You can't ALMOST have faith. You either believe Christ died for your sins or not and if you do....then you strive daily to live according to his word and die to your flesh.

That was ALMOST the truth. We are saved through faith alone in Christ alone. We are most assuredly called to godliness and holiness once we are born again. We are not saved by our good works. Which this poem strongly implies. Romans 4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection and trusting in that for your salvation is what saves.

Let me ask you all this!!! Do you all keep all the LAW ...? The ENTIRE LAW. If you break 1 you break ALL ? Does anyone live perfect ? Do you have a thoughts that go against God and his Holiness ? No I didn’t think so, can we stop making this message about how we live ? At the end of the day your saved because of what Jesus Christ did ALONE ! Not how we live ... there are ppl that sinned against God and he still declared them righteous... the “ ALMOST saved “that he really means is wether we believe that or not ! Not by our works or actions.

One of the most dangerous terms in English diction. If it could be translated into audio, it would sound like (pbpbpbp) From the saxophone of Lisa Simpson. Two words designed and strategically combined to form the biggest oxymoron in the history of mankind. All. Most. But see, as far as the world is concerned, you could live your life foul and could almost get away with murder if you have a nice smile. You could almost meet folks just to almost sleep around Then stop at your local clinic. Well, you almost had a child. See, almost is no stranger to Satan. Here's proof. He only tells lies when they're almost the truth and its amazin' And on incompleteness, we find complacence. But if almost is one of Lucifer's many traits, then we are inadvertently good, that's Satan's impersonations. But on the contrary, Christ did his job fully and He proved He was God when He died on the Cross like it was His duty And to pardon my iniquities that I committed rudely, He resurrected from the Grave just to tell death to excuse me. But excuse me, this is your life and that's something I can't impose on, But your body is God's home, which was alone to get foreclosed on. See, an almost Christian looks right, but lives wrong. Can't stand the conviction in Romans, so they sit down to be comforted in Psalms. Never understood worship, but loved to sing songs like "I surrender al....MOST!" Cause its far too expensive for you to spend your life on something that doesn't appeal to your five senses. See, nowadays, Christianity's like a louie rag, No functional use but we just rock it cause its stylish. Not righteous, but right-ish. So now all God sees is a pile of Ish-males (Ishmaels) when he intended for Isaacs. We're moved by how we feel, so we're saved when we feel like it, So technically we've never really been saved, we merely tried it. So no wonder why we're never sold out when we return it after we buy it. Now, let me break it down because you need beware that your life could lack the very standards that need to be there Cause on that final day of judgement when God's receiving His heir, Will He say "Son, well done" or "puh, medium rare" Cause even by worldly standards, it would be highly insane for you to start spending all of your money days before you almost get paid Like, parents, you wouldn't send your kids to a school that's almost safe. Hey ladies, would you really date a man who claims he's almost straight? And this is the very thing about God that we all try to get around But His standards are like between two mountains, no middle ground. So a half way life is unprofitable to you cause after all the Sunday services, Bibles studies and prayer meetings, and everything that goes between, God will say I never knew you. But that's not even the worst part of living your life as neutral Its that you were once octic, but its your warmness that is causing Him to spew you. And this is the very thing that had me, I was bound and held down by the unforgiving gravity of my spiritual reality. I was a Christian, or at least I portrayed the fantasy with a filthy personal life, but a "God bless you brother" "How you doin' sister" personality. I was a male enveloped by guilt because I was stamped a sinner. I said, I was a male enveloped by guilt because I was stamped a sinner. My message couldn't be received because I didn't represent the sender, yet I was almost delivered, till that one day that I totally absolutely and completely surrendered. I took heed to a modern profit who proclaimed it was time for change Now I'm now longer bound to sin. Point blank. Off the chain. You can ask Umar Abdul Mutallab, he'll tell you the same. You don't almost go to jail, when you almost blow up a plane. Like you don't almost go to hell, when you almost get saved. Despise the cross that He was slain and thus the cause in which He came, But don't worry, I'm almost done. But before I leave this stage, We have all worked in sin and death was minimum wage, I said, we've all worked in sin and death was minimum wage, But if it wasn't for Christ we would've almost got paid.
