Almost Got Spooled. Shark hit like a freight train. surf fishing Padre Island National Seashore.
Had this shark on for 30 minutes. I managed to get him close to shore before the shock leader knot separated at the main line. The knot had a large amount of seaweed stuck on it i wonder if that caused the knot to fail.
Comment if anyone has had that experience. The shark was not really that big i believe it was foul hooked that's why it fought so hard. Thanks for watching Louie

Right. Sharks Are not my target species for sure but fun to hook up every once in a while. Especially when nothing else is being caught. Thanks for the comment Louie

May 9th and 10th all video was shot from the 18 to the 40. South of the 25 no new weed was coming in and driving wasn't to bad not sure about today. Thanks for the comment. Louie

It was a shark not really that big either maybe 4 ft or so. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
