She definitely has the IT girl vibes. STAYC is from a startup company (HighUp Entertainment), which does not have the money like the Big4 companies to throw money in promoting their idols, but they make high quality K-pop songs that are memorable and stand the test of time.

i do think isa gets a lot of attention, she's gone viral a lot like with stereotype bridge or her performance at water bomb in 2023. the issue is that their concept doesn't suit her the most like she's cute and bubbly but imo she stands out more with sensual concepts. maybe it will be different with this comeback. sadly stayc doesn't have the same popularity like before with people focusing more on newer groups or groups from big 4. isa does have potential and she got a solo song in their new album so im excited for that

i agree with everything you said in the video! when i first got into stayc, i thought isa was the visual and face of the group. shes got such a distinctive look and voice that i fell in love with her immediately and now shes one of my ults ! there sure is competition for the “4th gen it girl” title but if isa doesnt claim it that doesnt change her amazing talent, visual and love for her fans 💝💝

Isa-biased swith here! Another interesting fact about isa is she has LOTS of fellow female idols friends to the point we often joke that she is the main female attractor in stayc. Itzy ryujin, kep1er chaehyun, yves, chaeyoung, gidle minnie, nmixx sullyoon to name a few. And much more! I personally think the reason why she is not as popular as we expected her to be is because highup tends to push ot6 forward in everything stayc does. It's a good thing because the fandom has almost none of akgae in it, and every member gets equal amount of love and attention by both the company and the fans. As we know, most female idols who are called "it-girls" usually get more spotlight and attention from the company and general public compared to the other members, and in some cases even overshadow their fellow members. They are also usually the ones whose visual often get praised by knetz. From what I see, Korean general public recognizes sieun more due to her being a critically-acclaimed child actress and daughter of THE park namjung (legendary Korean singer). In the context of visual, I've seen knetz often brings up seeun and j more compared to the other members, thus isa's visual seems to be more popular among international fans (isa is also the most popular member among non-fans in my country, indonesia). So yeah, I think the "obstacle" that prevents isa from achieving the it-girl popularity is because stayc is loved and be given attention equally (which is good, but IMO it's kinda difficult to have a stand-out member from a group whose members seem shine brighter together)

I remember when I got into StayC, Isa was the one who caught my attention. Her visuals and voice is heavenly, I agree with you too. I will and always love Isa with all of my heart ❤ 👸🏻

With her it's like what's happening to aespa with Winter and Karina. Winter was/is the member who fits most kbs and is traditionally what a kpop visual would look like but Karina has the most interesting visuals hence why she's the most popular. Isa is in that position. Traditionally beautiful but Yoon has the most interesting visuals. Jisoo is the most traditionally beautiful but Jennie has the most interesting visuals. The exception had to be Irene, Wonyoung, maybe Minji and other well known group visuals.

Isa has been my bias from day 1 ❤❤❤ I still can't believe she hasn't blasted off because of her amazing beauty, terrific voice, and stage presence. She will forever be my ultimate bias ❤❤❤❤❤

I personally think ALL members of STAYC could seriously ALL be it-girls.

For those wondering why their fave is not hailed as the it-girl, here are the factors needed to become one : 1. Visual - pretty self-explanatory 2. Stage Presence - gives off strong charisma that catches peoples attention to them first 3. Scandal/issue - of course, being popular comes with both fans and haters, negative attention is still attention 4. Attitude/Sex appeal - the most important one, even if the idols are very pretty and talented if they dont know how to carry themselves in front of the media they dont qualify as an it-girl. This is hard to explain but they tend to give off charisma even when not on stage 5. Brand Reputation - if their groups is pretty popular in the general public this will be a boost to individual popularity If you ask why your fave is not as popular as you expect them to be maybe theyre missing one of these factors and one more thing ; talent does not equate to popularity

Can you make a video like this for Sullyoon ? I always thought she would be a it girl with her insane talent and cute personality and strong voice and her crazy visuals but never did ?

i am so glad that my girls are finally getting recognition! when I first joined stayc's fandom in 2021, i really did think isa was the visual in stayc. i am so proud of this group and the fandom because of how they get themselves here without needing a popular company! i hope this new comeback will attract attention to all the kpop stans out there!

Omg i needed this video 😭 as an isa biased swith ive always thought the same like she's such an aceee. I do think that at least their company is aware of her immense potential tho specially since she's getting a solo in their new album, i hope this opportunity will bring her the appreciation she truly deserves

Isa is 100% it girl material I have thought this since day one. I remember her cover albums sold out immediately at the LA concert.

We also have Chanty, the Filipino-Argentine member of Lapillus, which is a group that MLD locks up inside their dungeon unfortunately.

from in the fandom itself, i'd say she is one of the most popular members, on twt definitely 1st, a lot of casual fans know her too, a reason being that she knows and gets along with a lotttt of other groups' idols. Maybe she is just an uncut gem, the following comeback she will have a solo song, so let's wait what the future holds!

The most likely reason why she isn’t as popular is bc she’s not from a big company like jyp, hybe, or yg, that’s what really helps out when it comes to being known it’s called big three privilege Jennie was from a big company so that’s why she’s more known I know the company Wonyoung is in isnt a big three company but she was in izone which really helped boost her popularity

I think her personality is holding her back. She’s an introvert so she sometimes doesn’t communicate her feelings well on interview shows. Bc of that they’d rather have Yoon or other members who can keep the conversation going well. No hate to her tho Ik her skills will improve as they keep promoting as a group and I love how high up makes sure their attention is spread evenly to all members.

i think it was of the usage of ‘at the time’ idk it didn’t sounds particularly shady but it definitely didn’t sound as secure as the other compliments…but i doubt it was meant to be a dig at her
