Almondigas Soup! Meatball and Sotanghon Recipe | Chef Tatung
Enjoy the comforting embrace of Almondigas this rainy season! Combining sotanghon and savory meatballs, this bowl is the ideal remedy for chilly days. With Almondigas, you're sure to please every palate. Family dinner nights just got even more delicious!
Ingredients:
Meatballs Mixture
300g. Ground Pork
2 cloves Garlic, mashed
1 pc. Onion, minced
¼ cup Carrot, grated
¼ cup Flour
2 Eggs
1 Tbsp. Oyster Sauce
Season with Salt
For Saute
1 pc. Onion, minced
½ cup Carrot, sliced
1 Stalk Celery, chopped
1 tsp. Salt
6-7 cups Water
1 pc. Chicken Cubes
Add Your Meatballs
2 cups Cabbage, chopped
1 Tbsp. Patis
100g. Vermicelli Noodles
1 tsp. Black Pepper
¼ cup Celery leaves

For us, it’s the meatball that makes this soup. With the meatball, I use sliced bread soaked in milk and add Parmesan cheese. It’s soft and so good. I’ll try using vermicelli instead of Misua next time. Thanks for posting this dish, chef. Tc.

Albondigas for us eversince. One of our favorites. And we prefer using the Patola with corners and not the round ones, Misua is good too. Next time, I want to try minced pork and not ground. Thanks for sharing, Chef! :)
