I love this concept. It's long overdue, but Allyson is the ideal person to pioneer it. Hopefully, in time, athlete fathers can find similar escape and bonding opportunities in the space.

@raoulroberts I'm sure they'll be using it this year no doubt. That's what's so great abt it. She described it as a nursery for athletes. I don't think k she described it as specific for women. I think the fact that the men will be able to have a comfortable place for their wives to bring their young kids will be a great place for the men to spend their time w their kids and wives, etc... giving them a place to focus and refuel outside of the tension-filled Olympic village and venues.

This is so great to see! Winning an individual bronze and a team gold at the last Olympics as a mom. And turning her passion into something great for moms. Female athlete turned advocate and entrepreneur it will be great to see what she does with her company, platform, foundation donation and more! Go Allyson!!

The thoughts was put into this were rubbing on the brain of many who were not BRAVE because of their experience with sponsors'. Felix would have had the internal support from team USA and run with funds she received. This is most important to any woman - athlete knows their child or children are being properly cared for by people who support their decisions - athlete mother relationship. Getting the funding to help black women survive childbirth and also the research funds to seek out the causes, is amazing. She almost died while giving birth to her first child, so she knows what she is talking about. An astronomical amount of black women die from complications of childbirth than any other race. She just lost a good friend, Tori Bowie, a fellow decorated athlete to this exact same issue. She is a blessing to this world.
