    im owning a pinion gearbox, its just great. But i don't see here any seals on this model. Im wondering how small a gear could get, to carry the load. That would be probably the parameter which determines the gearboxes size and weight.

    Hi. This gearbox has 5mm bigger shaft spacing than pinion. I think the overall gearbox size is about 10mm long. But it weighs less than 1.9kg. There are many factors in determining the weight. Overall part composition, thickness, material...

    Hello, 12speed is 570%. I didn't make the 9speed However, this gear ratio can be changed according to the change in gear size. We haven't decided which gear ratio to adopt for the actual release.

    I hope the local bike brands in the Philippines would build frames that would accomodate this gearbox. I especially like it if Nyfti bikes would make a folding bike frame for it, with 9 speeds.

    Thank you. I think most internal transmissions are similar when there is a load. However, the power efficiency may differ by 2-3% depending on the difference in how sophisticated the production is. Have a nice day.

    @@all-to Is the gearbox able to shift when it is stationary? Is it able to shift when pedaling hard?

  • @all-to

    @all-to

    Жыл бұрын

    @@boogerlad Yes. You can operate the shifter at any time. You can go after changing to the number of steps you want when you leave. The problem is when you're on up hill. Even if you change it from 5step to 3step, it works at 5step. When the padalling is paused momentarily, the third stage is engaged. This is a problem with all the internal gears.

    감사합니다.😅 호주에 사시는군요. 호주에서는 다양한 자전거가 있나봅니다? 우선 E-BIKE의 경우 뒷바퀴허브와 조합이 되어야 합니다. 그럴경우 모터출력이 도와주기 때문에 오히려 기어박스에 토크부담이 줄어듭니다. 오늘 토크를 체크했더니 150NM은 무조건 넘습니다. 어쨋든 몇일내로 토크를 확인해서 영상에 올릴겁니다. 오일을 사용합니다. 그리스도 가능합니다. 영상에서 보시다시피 벨트사용이 가능합니다. magura 브레이크를 사용해 본적이 없습니다만 기어박스 위치와 상관없으니 사용에 영향이 없겠네요. 전자버튼변속은 가능합니다만 아직 개발하진 않았습니다.

    Hello. Philippines? I need to ask you something to ask. Most parts of Southeast Asia are flat, right? Do you use a transmission with a large gear ratio there? What products do people usually want there? For example, I can make a 360% transmission with seven steps. The price could be around $200. It's good enough for flat land and for slopes around the city.

    @@all-toHi there! Much love an support from the Philippines as well! I wish great things for your gearbox and your company! In regards to tour inquiry we have a lot of mountainous areas and flats as well. Since the Philippines is a tropical country there's only two weathers that you can experience in a single day, it's either SCORCHING HOT, and or STORM LIKE RAINS(with a little bit of exaggeration to get the points across). But i do believe gearboxes will help the Philippines bikepacking community with your reasonable prices. Will you give the digital dimensions of your gearbox so that people can make custom bike?

If you actually start selling this gearbox, I will post the necessary information on the website. I guess there are many companies that manufacture bicycles themselves in the Philippines, too?@@PuddyIzzy

    Thanks. I'm looking to build a gearbox like this into the front hub of my 52" Penny Farthing. I need to be able to control speed and bike balance with pedalling; I do not want freewheel. I have looked into using a Pinion Gearbox but I think all or most of the gears have ratchets in Pinion gearbox so it would freewheel. Is this the case with your design? I'm not bothered if the lowest gears freewheel. Do you have any other ideas for my application? The ratios and range of your design is correct for what I'm looking to do. Thanks

    @@scottbailey1562 I think I understand you a little bit. I guess you need a way to secure the gear, not a ratchet. But this is also a ratchet method like pinion. The reason why we make it like this is that the pedal should always be free even when shifting.
