It sounds like a Boy Harsher collab, i cannot believe she produced the whole album. Allie X is one of the most interesting and talented artists from the actual alternative scene, this music video and the whole new album confirm it.

I’d almost say this album is Allie’s most philosophical piece of work yet. I’ve found so many existential themes in it, ruminating on the purpose of artists, of beauty, identity… it not only slaps but is so incredibly thoughtful and raw. As a longtime X I’m just sooo blown away, bravo Allie!! 👏👏👏👑

I have watched this probably 30 times this week... it's such a great song and video. I had no idea I needed this type of retro song and video in my life. Allie X killed it.

Allie X it’s one of the few artists that I feel do art for the sake of doing it, she doesn’t follow a pattern or “Era rollout” She seems so legit and passionate about what she do and I love her for that, I needed this album

@@goddessoflove7204 I feel like GWNF is the "perfect" (perfection doesn´t really exist, right?) culmination of everything she did in the previous works, but more specifically it´s like she picked the authentic 80´s atmosphere from Super Sunset and completed it with the deep and dark introspective soul of Cape God, and it became this post-punk synthpop jewel that is Girl With No Face...I´m still in need of listening to this album more, but it´s definitely right beside Cape God as my favourite Allie X´s album

The sound of Laura Branigan combined with the visual impact of Klaus Nomi . . . I never imagined such a combination could work, let alone work so well. I keep finding new music that makes me think, "I miss this kind of music." Maybe I don't have to miss it anymore. Maybe it's back if we know where to listen.
